Destiny Scotland New Town Apartments

Highly recommend these apartments. Absolutely spotless, really big rooms with everything we needed for our stay. Great location too. Would definitely stay here again.

So close to the castle. Very attentive staff (even 15 minutes before the office closed). Spacious and clean. Quality linens. They have a lift! Beautiful setting. Definitely coming back again.

We enjoyed our stay in a self contained and very modern unit.Unfortunately the administration staff in the building around the corner was very abrupt and made me feel I was interrupting her day with inconsequential questions.

Destiny Scotland has a very kind and compassionate staff who helped by receiving my delayed luggage while I was out exploring Edinburgh during the day following check in. Also wonderful to be able to stash luggage after and before formal check in.Not only were the accommodations clean and fresh- the two bedroom unit was very spacious. Appreciated the coffee supplies.The bathtub was nice and long for soaking but I felt unsafe getting out of it- a handle would be safer feeling.Linen was nice but recommend new mattress.

My husband and I needed a last minute place to stay and we are SO GLAD we found Destiny Apartments. The space was huge! Everything was very clean and updated. The location was excellent - short walk to New Town or Old Town. We couldn't believe the value for the price. Highly recommend this to anyone!

The apartment was in the best location.It was very clean and comfortable. Had everything you needed including a washing machine/dryer.

This very new apartment is situated in a prime location near the center of Edinburgh. It is about 5 mins walk from the flower clock in Princes St gardens.The office, where you can store luggage is on Thistle street, where the staff are very helpful and friendly.The unit itself is located down a back lane which seems very intimidating at first. Access is easy using a 4 digit code. There is a lift, but it is situated after negotiating 3 steps down, then 3 steps up, then opening a door. All very tricky with a suitcase plus carry on bag.However the apartment itself is well equipped and looks brand new or newly renovated. There is a lounge, kitchenette, bedroom, bathroom and a laundry behind a door. The only draw back is there are awful views over roof tops and back lanes from the small rectangular windows. Also the bed is very uncomfortable and a needs a new mattress.None the less, I would recommend staying here as the location is excellent and it’s a nice apartment apart from the bed.

Fantastic rooms & fantastic location. Very easy check in & out. Clean, Tidy, Modern & well equipped, cheaper than most hotels & also a very good quiet nights sleep.

Immaculate, high spec apartment, thoughtfully set up to maximise guest comfort. Brilliant central location behind Thistle Street, perfect to explore the city during a short stay.

These apartments are beautiful. Immaculate and quiet and near everything walkable, including only a five minute walk to Waverley train station. I loved the two night stay. The bed was comfortable, the place was spotless and it was quiet which I was surprised at as it was edinburgh. Bathroom was like new. Couldn’t fault it for a couples weekend away trip. There was a lift which was good too. If you are ok for walking it’s an idea base for everything in town. A mirror in the main living space as well as the bathroom would have been good but I loved it.
