I understand that it is a stressful time to work in the medical industry but every time I contact this place I am given a different excuse for why something hasn't happened or why I need to wait yet another week. Admin staff all seem to have an attitude problem like I'm inconveniencing them when I just want an appointment and the prescriptions I have been having for years - as someone mentioned below it has been a nightmare to get my history so that they can issue prescription. More than once they have said we don't do that here" when I have asked about my records - so the Drs are playing minecraft on the computers are they? Extremely disappointing."

Genuinely the worst, most careless GP practice I’ve ever been to. Can only offer an appointment once every 3 weeks and it’s over the phone. Reception are extremely disorganised, they’ve misplaced many of my documents and got my prescriptions wrong. The doctors don’t care about you, they just try and rush you. They have also misdiagnosed me and given incorrect medication advice many times. When you try to speak up, and have a say in your treatment, they get passive-aggressive. Finally, they were supposed to refer me to secondary care. They didn’t write the referral properly, preventing me getting adequate medical treatment.

I have called this surgery and have come into the surgery. I must say they work very slowly, on the phone I’ll be caller number 2 with an estimated hold time of 3 minutes and I’ll be on the phone for 35 minutes. Whilst In the reception I’ll be waiting similar times just to pick up prescriptions.

The experience I've had with Dr. Watkins has been great, there was also a female doctor there who was very sympathetic and took extra precaution with my illness.Upstairs was bad, didn't really take into account my knowledge on the subject or the fact my problem was chronic during childhood.Reception are normally decent and waiting times for me weren't that bad. They do need to have dedicated receptionists at the window that don't take calls because my goodness I had to queue behind 2 people for 10 minutes to be seen, and both windows had people sitting there taking calls instead. I also didn't like the phone call with the nurse. She broke news to me of a test I needed very bluntly and didn't answer any questions I had, she told me to come in before a certain time because that's when she'll be in" and then didn't actually see me

This negative reviews are a nonsense. This is hands down the best surgery I have ever been booked in. I get appointment pretty much every time I want. Especially if it is emergency, I can just talk to the doctor on the phone and tell them exactly what the problem is, especially if it is recurrent. 99% of the time I get to see my named GP and he is fabulous. I have spoken to 3 different GPs over the years and each one listens, reflects back to you what you said and explains exactly what will happen next. I always get copy of tests results when I ask for them for private treatments etc…

Always get appointment based on our urgency. Most of the time when my kids had emergency, they gave same day emergency appointments. Good reception staffs and Doctors.

In my short time with the surgery they asked me to have 3 tests, 2 urine and 1 bloods. They lost the results of the first urine test and so I had to do another. They've now lost the results of my bloods but hey at least at least they have a record of me actually doing the test this time unlike the urine test. I've asked them one thing, to get a copy of my notes as I've got a long term illness that requires treatment. I asked for the notes back in October. It is now January and they've had to push for getting the notes twice. When I first joined the surgery, my initial appointment with the doctor resulted in him augmenting my medication. How he know to do that without my notes is nothing short of witchcraft and clairvoyance. I'm now coming out of a really dark place after the holidays and tried to make an appointment. I'll have to wait about a week and a half. Not bad all things considering I'm only suicidal and they know this.

Wasn't registered, went in as a temporary and they gave an appointment within 30 minutes. Highly recommended

Terrible receptionists. Their job is to tell people blood test results yet when they used the medical term and I asked what that meant she very rudely told me ‘I don’t know google it’. Excuse me? Google my blood tests results because you’re not informed enough on your job?! Also one of them hasn’t even come back yet after almost a month and no one can tell me when I’ll receive it. Receptionists were very patronising and when I asked if they could spell something out for me so I can google my results she told me she couldn’t?
