Had hip replacement surgery in March and have been amazed by the whole experience. The minute I walked into my consultation I felt completely as ease and had every confidence with Simon. The whole thing was explained clearly and although very nervous for the operation had complete trust that I was in good hands. The surgery was a great success and my recovery was also a lot quicker than I expected. I will need to have the other side replaced and will be going back to Simon for that also.

Hip replaced December last year. All went to plan and good recovery.Excellent communication throughout. Just returned from cycling holiday and going Walking in Italy in September. Life back to normal.

Simon made me feel totally relaxed about whole Hip replacement procedure. His confidence regarding the surgery and the outcome were totally justified. My new hip is great and enabling me to be just as energetic as before, totally pain free!

Operation was no drama, calm, and efficient. Going without the general anesthetic was a revelation and speeded up feeling normal after the op. Mr Garrett answered all my questions and I never felt confused about what was going on at any step of the process. Along with the anesthetist, nursing staff, and physio, the team made the whole experience no-where near as traumatic as expected.

My husband had a hip replacement at the end of November 2018. We were extremely impressed with Simon Garrett with his whole approach of the procedure from start to finish. He seems to adopt the most up to date methods and the best recovery methods for the patient. Mr Garrett is probably the most professional and approachable doctor we have ever had the pleasure of dealing with and he is supported by a very well organised and efficient secretary. We know other people who have had hip replacements but comparing experiences we were very fortunate to have had him.
