NONE OF THEIR VANS ARE ULEZ COMPLIANT. Have used twice. Friendly pick up and drop off, albeit a bit slow, allow plenty of time. Van seat fine for driver, bench seat for passengers very uncomfortable as back of seat is angled bolt upright, not adjustable so impossible to sit comfortably. The biggest downside of hiring is that NONE of the vans are ULEZ compliant and they don't mention it anywhere or tell you before hiring. I was stung with two £90 fines. It's rare for hire vans to be so outdated, they looked modern enough so it didn't cross my mind to double check. They were not apologetic or in the least bit interested when I complained.Update 26/10/23 - their email response pasted below does not match their reply to my review:Most of our vans and commercial vehicles are not ULEZ compliant

Very happy with my experience, was able to hire a van at short notice, it was an easy process to collect, van was full of diesel and had been cleaned upon my arrival. Competitively price and service with a smile. Im a huge fan or supporting local business, especially when they go the extra mile.

Cant fault my experience of the recent van hire. Walked in off the street and and drove away 20mins later. Prompt return of deposit. Vehicle fit for purpose (lwb).Friendly helpful staffOne slightly annoying aspect wad the manual wing mirrors that kept getting displaced every time the doors opened fully. Having to wind the window down at the lights to sort it was a pain

Excellent service and very efficient staff. I hired a car with them for a couple of weeks and I fully recommend them. Plus very reasonable prices if you compare with other car hiring companies. I will definitely be using them again.

Brilliant all round. Needed a 7 seater last minute and was sorted over the phone easily. Customer service staff are friendly and helpful and explained everything perfectly. Was easy to collect and drop off out of hours, very good price and gorgeous car. Also staff were brilliant when the kids managed to leave a set of airpods in the car and they hunted for them. Absolutely recommend this company 100% and will use again when needed.

Easy to order and easy to pick up.When dropping off 3.5 ton van with tailift... It was straight forward... Park up in any of the 4 locations down the same street. Then drop keys in the key box.Will definitely use them again.

A brilliant, cost effective, local service.I needed to hire a car for a drive to North Lancashire and back, having lost faith in my own vehicle.For the price Robertsons charge, compared to the famous franchised national and international brands, I was expecting a much older vehicle. I was very pleasantly surprised to be greeted with a year old Hyundai i20 with less than 20k on the clock.The car was a little dream - so much so that I want one.The service was so easy, very friendly, comprehensively explained and won't be beaten on price.I cannot recommend highly enough.

Picked up truck with no problems from office staff.Shown around the vehicle and shown how to work the controls in a relaxed and friendly manner.Returned truck and got the invoice the next day .Very professional all round, highly recommend.
