I have been working for the Miramar just over a year now and i consider it to be a beautiful home with a genuinely caring team that never fails to treat the residents wonderfully.My advice to anyone looking for a residential, nursing or dementia care home is to at least go and look for yourselves and i am sure that what you see will not only impress you but also set the bar for every other home you view.

Miramar Care Home is a lovely place. You walk in and are immediately welcomed by staff who are able to assist with all your questions and queries. Easily accessible and easy to find. The refurbishment makes the care home look fresh and exciting.

My wife Jan suffers from advanced dementia and moved into Miramar in September. I can not praise highly enough the staff. Nursing, domestic and administrative staff have all been excellent in helping her in her transition into care home living.They are caring, welcoming and have empathy for their residents, which has made the difficult decisions I have had to make easier.The facility is of a very high standard and the care the residents receive is excellent. I cannot recommend Miramar highly enough.

If only I could leave no stars! The middle-aged blonde dragon that frequents reception, I believe her name was Chrissy; should be put through some intensive customer service training. Or given a personality transplant. Horrifically rude seems to be her default. The rooms are disgusting. Vulnerable, elderly people charged a fortune for damp, dirty and dated accommodation. Avoid at all costs!

I have called the Miramar on two separate occasions to ask for details on respite care and no one has ever returned my call. Hopefully they are more responsive to their residents.

I have my elderly mother in Marimar care home, and I must say the staff are so lovely Christie stands out for me, as she is so caring, thoughtful and such a wonderful person she is so helpful, I gave five stars to show how much I am impressed.
