Recycling Squad

Not happy with the service at all. We agreed a collection time with them yesterday for today and we had to chase them on the day for an ETA. They finally called at the time they are meant to collect the rubbish to say they won't be attending today and the earliest is Tuesday for a collection. Very unprofessional.

Absolutely fantastic service from beginning to end. We wanted to get rid of old rotten deck boards and it was collected the same day. No messing around, was professional, honest, reliable and great value. I will definitely be using the service again. Couldn't be happier with the outcome. Thanks!

Was 40 mins after the access time I gave them. Gave me a quote that nearly doubled on the day which I had to pay because they were so late. Then the driver moaned the whole time that the rubbish he was collecting wasn’t broken down and bagged up.

They quote GBP 250 Plus vat for an XXL load 1700kg but upon arrival he wants 300 GBP cash in hand since he does not like to pay VAT to support NHS nurses and other public services. He esimates the rumble bags to be 30 KG of which he will take 45 in one load (1350 kg). Upon checking weight of rumble bags they were around 20KG. He badmouths his competitors. I also saw recent post re not meeting delivery slot. I suspect this is so that overcharge when you are desperate to get rid of your stuff.

Our builder always uses this company and so do we now. They always are friendly, happy to be contacted for info and the men delivering the service are very experienced and happy to help.

I needed to clear a 2 bed flat in an awful state. Other places refused but this team came within 24 hours notice. They recognised that it was stressful for me ,checked what needed to be done and were professional and courteous. Would highly recommend

Recycling Squad was very professional from the start. We spoke over the phone, booked the collection for the day after. The guy who came over (forgot to ask his name) was so sweet and in 20min the job was done. Good price, smooth, no fuss. Definitely recommend!

We were very unimpressed with the service we received last week from Recycle Squad. They gave us a delivery slot between 1-3pm and didn't turn up until 5:30pm with only 1 guy to collect our stuff , when we'd requested we'd need 2 guys. We ended up having to help load the van ourselves, but we should not have had to do this at all. Not only that, but we'd given details on the exact measurements and amounts of waste we had , yet they turned up with half of the van already full of someone's waste , even though we'd requested a full load. We will now be having to use another service to collect our remaining waste. The only positive here is that the driver was really helpful when it came to putting us in contact with the company directly while on site. I do not recommend this service.

Prompt, immediate response, effective communication both via phone and via Whatsapp, and immediate booking. Kristine was courtesous and efficient. Kalvis and his crew were great: in less than 5 minutes my washing machine was taken away and on its way to being recycled. A 5-star experience. Thank you Recycling Squad!
