If you’re looking for a trustworthy reliable company who put their customers first then I urge you not to use Hillary’s curtains. My 90 year old Mother was looking at her TV and Hillary’s curtains came up with a fabulous half price offer. The sales man / curtains fitter arrived on time and my Mother picked her curtains. She was quoted £815, 00. My Mother quickly said, hang on a minute you have a half-price sale on, the sales person said that is half price love. My Mother loved the sample curtains and at that stage she thought this company was a company she could trust and undertaking the work would be hassle free and that was worth a premium at 90 years old. The sales person / fitter turned up six weeks later with the made to measure curtains. He had measured them 5 inches to long so he asked me her son if I could extend the fixing piece of wood by 5 inches higher, he then said he would come back two days later and hang the curtains. He turned up on time and put the brackets higher up and fitted the curtains, he then asked me and my Mother what we thought of them. The curtains were hitting the ceiling and dragging on the floor, and the 3 circular discs that held the brackets were half on the board and half hanging in fresh air. My Mother was in total shock and I told the fitter there was absolutely no chance of us signing the job off. Two weeks after that a new fitter turned up with a new pair of curtains he said he would come a 9 o’clock and actually turned up at 2 o’clock and after 5 or 6 phone calls / texts. Do yourself a favour don’t go any ware near them. Oh and they gave my Mother £100,00 refund. Never again

This company is the worst company to deal with they don’t even deserve a 1 star rating .You are unable to speak to anyone in authority the area manager will not speak to customer she is far to important.No customer care what so ever.The telesales staff are your only contact they try there best but can’t do anything.Don’t use this company.Go to someone who is reputable, Hilary’s aren’t

I have Worst experience in my life, I have ordered blinds for my house 16 June 2021 and it’s 19th August they haven’t completed the order yet. Very disappointed with this company. I don’t want to give one star but there’s no option like this. Given 0 star. Worst customer service, they said they have lost some order it’s more than two months and they cannot sort out the order. It’s worst ever service I have.

@hillarysblinds my personal opinion through experience is that customers should steer clear at all cost, get a local company to fit your shutters/blinds. Lost frame and 6 weeks later no shutter frame, ignored by @hillarysblinds fobbed off, feel robbed tbh. Go local get a personal service.

What a lovely experience! The showroom has a fantastic range of products and samples, so much too choose from. The staff are so friendly, professional and knowledgeable and spent so long with me helping me choose fabrics and colours, actually felt like having a personal designer. Booked a free home visit for a local advisor to come out to my home to measure my windows. Thank you for all your help.

Hillarys was the worst ‘reputable’ company we have dealt with so far. We needed a reliable service to fit in numerous blinds in our new house. We ended up with a list of serious complaints that we tried to communicate for weeks to customer service with no success. Every time a different person was dealing with the complaints, the emails with requested documentation have been lost, and there has been no track of our previous complaints in the system. We spent long hours complaining and finally, we had to give up. Our complaints included:1) Terrible mounting service overall. The person who installed the blinds left an absolute mess. Dust was everywhere, cart boxes were left in the middle of the rooms, and nails were left behind. All this was waiting for your 3-month-old baby to be eaten.2) Lack of appropriate advice. We were encouraged to buy expensive blackout blinds for the baby’s room. There was no mention that the advised blinds have a mechanism which does not allow them to be fitted perfectly to the window frame and the light floods into the room preventing our baby from sleeping. On top of that the blinds are not well fitted.3) The only velvet blind that we have does not fold properly.4) A signature was faked on the statement that we were happy with the service! This is illegal and the company has never commented on this.*Edit regarding the reply: We are still looking forward to being contacted. The enquiry number is 685167.
