You never know what could you find in your food! The food is not bad, I tried this brand few times. But after I see a short black hair is sticking on my chicken, i know that’s the last time I’m in this udon store.You will see teenagers treat the food like basketball and throw everywhere in the kitchen. And the manager seems only focused on his laptop to check how much money they make today.

Poor experience at Marugame at The O2.I've eaten in other Marugame branches and was expecting the usual excellent service.On entry, we stood waiting for 10 mins to be served. No Greetings.The cutlery were dirty, the black spoons had food stuck on them, we opted for chopsticks.My beef nikutama udon had other meat in (? pork) plus too much onions and scarce meat.The condiment section was empty.Most off all the staff acted like they didn't want to be there, ignoring customers, chatting to each other.Wow! Worst experience ever. Not a good impression

Generous helpings and polite staff. I only wanted a little rice and sauce in my katsu curry. I had to shout to stop them pulling on the rice, and they put a load of sauce on before I could speak. Someone fell on the stairs and I got a bit of rain" on my downstairs table. Overall

I come to this restaurant mainly because of work, for lunch or dinner. I have to say, every time I come here, the texture of the udon noodles is different. It's either too soft or too hard, and none of the times has it matched the chewy texture like in Taiwan.Today, I ordered a triangle rice ball as well, and I deeply regret it. It was like they had just taken it out of the freezer and thawed it. It was extremely dry and hard, so dry that each grain of rice felt powdery when I bit into it. I took a bite and then put it in the soup, hoping it would soften the rice, but it didn't soften at all... This is truly the worst triangle rice ball I've ever had

For my first time going, the food, service and atmosphere were superb. The food was tasty and filling - I ordered a regular and just about finished it. The service was lovely. They were attentive and very helpful. The atmosphere was also nice. It wasn't busy and they were playing Japanese music, which added to the authenticity.Overall, I had a fantastic exeprience and will be coming again.

Shame they got rid of small portion sizes, but the food is so delicious! Rice portions are a bit smaller if that is helpful. Udon and tempura pictured and the noodle lights are awesome!

Enjoyed the katsu curry with udon, the portion of chicken was generous and I added a chicken gyoza for £1!Reasonably priced with great taste, I would say the seating area is a bit cramped, and it was really hot in there could've done with some air conditioning!Really cool place looking forward to coming again and trying the menu
