Great place, really lovely staff and I really liked the introduction to climbing sessions. As someone completely new to climbing I found it really helped me to deal with any potential anxiety and gave a great foundation for the basics. This place is bit cold in winter time but I guess that's to be expected.

Love this place. Fantastic staff. I don’t know much about climbing but my daughter has been going here weekly for nearly 2 years and loves the place. I keep being encouraged to do a short session to be able to climb and supervise my child but I haven’t done it yet. I’m still not sure it’s my ‘thing’ but I can see why people enjoy it.

My favourite place to go climb ATM. Staff are super friendly and approachable as are all the other climbers that come here. Routes have great variety and are changed regularly to keep u wanting to come back and challenge yourself.

My son started rockstars here when he was 5 and now he attends the Academy every week. All the coaches are attentive and encouraging, he's the smallest and has grown in size, confidence and skill.

Really nice Bouldering location. Make sure to sign up on the website before arriving as they won't let your boulder without doing so. Can get busy but there is plenty of walls to climb. Entry is around £10. There are fitting rooms and toilets.

Canny little bouldering centre on the outskirts of Newcastle. Parking can be a challenge when the centre is busy and it can be hard to access climbs too, particularly on the corridor like sides of the centre. Usually a good variety of climbs and pleasant staff.If you're climbing lower grades then you won't get as much out of the centre as it takes months and months for lower grade routes to be changed.
