Steve Askew Bathrooms

Steve has done two bathrooms for us over the last couple of years including forming an en suite within a bedroom and refitting a new main bathroom. He does everything including flooring, tiling and plastering. He is organised and turns up when he says he will. His end price was as originally quoted. He is clean and tidy during the day and when he goes home. He is precise with his work-a real perfectionist. Highly recommend

Steve was amazing and very professional from start to finish. He kept me updated every step of the way. His standard of work is super high and I’m very picky! Couldn’t fault him. It really was worth the wait for him to do our bathroom. It was a challenge given how tiny the room was but he was not phased. Steve is knowledgeable, wise and calm - very trustworthy. I cannot recommend Steve highly enough. He is incredibly professional. Steve is always easy to get hold of and returns calls promptly. His estimates of costings and timescales are accurate and reliable. Steve is very considerate of privacy when working in the family home and he is respectful of the individual needs of family members, including pets! Steve’s workmanship is first-class. He covered the carpet on our stairs and hallways to avoid incidental damage to the property when removing our old bathroom. He is consistently clean and tidy in his work and ensured that everything was cleared away fully at the end of the job. Steve fitted two new bathrooms for us in 2018. There was a lot of complicated work involved including demolishing existing partitions and resizing one very large bathroom and one tiny toilet room into two good size bathrooms. Steve gave us a lot of confidence when he came over to survey/quote for the work. He does all the different trades himself (plastering, tiling, plumbing etc), so his expertise was incredibly valuable with our project. When it came to doing the work Steve did an amazing job, we were so impressed with his neat, tidy, professional way of working, he even stayed after work each night to Hoover up, leaving the work area immaculate! Lovely guy, very high standard of work. Recommend.

Steve fitted our bathroom a couple of years ago and it still looks absolutely perfect and still feels new! His communication was excellent, good value and totally trustworthy (we went on holiday while he ripped the old bathroom out!) He did an amazing job - the quality is faultless (and he was brilliant with the nosey kids wanting to know exactly what he was doing all the time!!) I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Steve turned my semi vision for a new ensuite into reality + a refit of downstairs WC & hallway tiling. Very professional, great quality work and easy to talk to. Left the workspace tidy and where there were options, included me in the decision process. Very reasonably priced and I love the end result. Would highly recommend.

Steve did an amazing job fitting our kitchen and I cannot recommend him highly enough! Firstly, Steve is fantastic to work with and generally has great chat. We left Steve the keys to our flat so that he could fit our new kitchen while we were away on holiday. I had actually made a couple of errors in my order with Howdens, but Steve kindly sorted these out and made sure everything worked perfectly. He was also brilliant at liaising with the worktop installer and made sure everything worked smoothly on that end. The kitchen is finished to an absolutely beautiful standard, and the couple of very small snagging issues were sorted by Steve the next day. I can't thank him enough for transforming our kitchen into a beautiful space and I will definitely use his services again in the future.
