West Coast Hideaways Luxury Glamping Shepherd Huts with Hot Tubs

Jacqui and Jason have created the most stunning place to stay, everything has been thought of in creating the huts and their surroundings. There was nothing I would have added and I never grew bored of sitting either in the hot tub or at the table looking out at that view.The area is stunning with endless walks, beaches and drives to explore.A little piece of paradise and a perfect getaway for solo travelers or couples… I will be booking again for next year.

Beautiful cabins with every detail carefully thought out to make your stay as pleasant as can be.Lovely view in a peaceful setting.The swedish hot tubs provide an excellent way to relax at the end of each day.Lots to do in the local area with Jacqui and Jason on hand to provide information as need be.

My goodness, what a wonderful little retreat these shepherds huts are. Everything you need in a small but perfectly formed space. Two adults can easily relax in the space without tripping over one another.The Owners Jacqui and Jason are lovely and friendly and on hand to advise on areas to visit.We arrived extremely late for check in but still got a lovely welcome and a hot, hot tub. The hot tub takes some looking after to get the temp right but it is worth it.If you want to visit the West coast of Scotland then West Coast Hideaways are a great base for lots of mini adventures.We will be back for another cosy stay.

Amazing stay! We had a fabulous 3 night stay in the beautiful shepherd huts. Jacqui and Jason were so helpful with recommendations on the surrounding area and very friendly and welcoming! Views are fantastic, would definitely recommend if you are up the North west coast of Scotland. We will definitely be back!

What an absolutely beautiful part of the world. Just returned from a two week break travelling the NC500 - my husband and I stayed in one of Jacqui and Jason's shepherd's hut along the route - what a gem of a place! From the moment we pulled up outside the gate of West Coast hideaways and saw 3 majestic huts nestled against the stunning backdrop of Loch Nedd, we knew we were in for a treat! We had a perfect three night stay in Iris, soaking up the views and the wood fired hot tub! The hut was immaculately clean, well equip and just so very cosy! The location is completely peaceful and private, you'd have never known there were two other huts tucked away on the property grounds. A big thank you to Jacqui and Jason who were the perfect hosts - you both made us feel so welcome from the outset. Jason - thanks for the tips on places to visit on the last leg of our journey. The suspension bridge in particular was breathtaking - we'd have never known about it if not for you!

We stayed at West Coast Hideaways on the final leg of our NC500 trip and without a doubt it was the highlight of our trip. Jacqui and Jason were exceptional hosts and we loved chatting to them every day and getting their tips on what to do and where to visit. They were the most welcoming hosts and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. The huts exceeded our expectation, they have been done to a high standard and kitted out with great amenities. Everything has been thought of right to down to using the space under the bed for storage so it was very easy to tuck suitcases away and keep the place tidy. The hot tub being preheated for arrival was a lovely touch that we really appreciated. The location is remote, but it is on the road of some of the best beaches on the west coast and the view from the hut is beautiful so it is worth the drive! Would love to return.

Lovely location and a great couple running it. Was a lovely quiet break away. Cabin was excellent and clean. Everything we needed was there, in fact I ended up ordering the cordless fan online for home use. I'd been looking for one for ages. Thanks and would definitely come back again.

Amazing. There are Shepherds huts and there are Shepherds huts these are top class huts the so we'll equipped in a stunning location and the whole set up is laid out so well so each hut has privacy and a stunning view. The wood fired, naked flame, hot tub is awesome. Can't wait to go back. Think you'd be hard pushed to find anywhere better on the North coast. Thanks Jason and Jacqui

What an amazing way to chill out and relax. We were greeted at the gate by the hosts Jason and Jacqui who were extremely welcoming and Jason even helped me unload the car whilst the other half chatted about the pet sheep Hetty and Alfred and the deer that would appear later in the evening. The shepherds hut was top quality, immaculate, cosy, well equipped and so warm that we didn't feel the need to light the mini log burner inside. ( Late September)The wood fired hot tub on the other hand was a total luxury. Chilling at dusk and watching the wild deer slowly and silently moving up the croft towards you as they disappear into the total darkness is an experience we'll never forget.. Then as the evening went on we saw the very beginnings of the northern lights just a faint glow on the horizon but nevertheless a magical experience. Top hosts top location need I say more!!

The most perfect escape, in a stunning and peaceful location. The hut was so well designed and Jason and Jacqui provided everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The hot tub was such a nice feature, and we loved being able to spend loads of time outside, despite the cold weather. The hosts really went above and beyond and were so helpful, can’t recommend enough!
