Huntersfield Equestrian Centre

My son has been riding and having lessons at Huntersfield EC for well over a year. It's a fantastic school and stables run by Sam and Nico van den Berg. There is a really great atmosphere with a strong community of staff, helpers and riders. Teaching is very professional. Sam creates an encouraging and positive environment for all ages and abilities.The centre is Pony Club registered and Sam, Nico and the team run regular events and rallies which are always very well attended. They encourage active learning and participation in all aspects of stable and horse life.I continue to be delighted at the clear enjoyment my son gets from spending time at HEC. All in all it's a really fantastic place run by really lovely people. If you are considering riding lessons for yourself or your children, I cannot recommend it enough.

Both my daughter and wife are learning to ride here. From our first day the experience was amazing, Sam and Nico who were so welcoming, Seth whose pride in his coffee is immense through to the helpers in the stables who are so polite, respectful and included my daughter with their shared love of horses from the moment she walked in.A lovely place with wonderful people

Easily the best riding school that I have ever had lessons at. Sam is patient, understanding, and knows both her pupils and horses very well. Lessons are tailored to support each group and individual with varied lesson content each week.

My daughter has just had her 8th birthday here and we had an absolutely wonderful time. Sam and Nico are both such lovely people and made the whole experience so enjoyable for the riders and us parents. I would definitely recommend them if you're thinking of booking a party or want a lesson; we will certainly be going back.
