Sheffield Football Club

The beautiful game.This club is where it all started.It's no exaggeration to say that without Sheffield FC we wouldn't have what makes the game we all know & love what it is today.Yes it would be great if the club was back in the city limits but that doesn't take anything away from the spirit and togetherness of this club.I've seen this club home and away and watched them with my young daughter, my old man and my best mate. On a sunny Saturday afternoon and a cold Tuesday night. Everytime that welcoming friendly atmosphere has always been there. Even though social media it's there too.As the money and celebrity starts to take over at the top end of football rest assured that at its humble beginnings it's still the beautiful game.

It's the FA Trophy but, atmosphere almost non-existent apart from lone drummer from Spalding. He tried to lift fans but to no avail.Neither goal in match celebrated too loudly- the sun too hot to be vigorous.Food hut visited but, no recommendation towards pie as lukewarm(just) very kind description.Coach & Horses public house next to pub definitely worth visit pre-match, half time and, post-match where fans mingle happily and pints flow.Would I visit Sheffield FC again?Definitely, as I socialized both in and out of ground as is my nature (on football days talking twaddle). Make the most of your experience and you will enjoy the day

Brilliant little club!!!I run an under 11's football team in Rotherham and got in touch with Sheffield FC. They invited the boys to be mascots for the day in January. They were welcomed early doors by the director who let them into the ground and gave then a quick tour.They were taken to meet the players and treated like VIP's. They walked the players on the pitch and were given the responsibility of picking MOTM. The boys absolutely loved the whole day. The match was a good game as well with plenty of excitement.The hospitality was top notch

Always entertaining at The Home of Football. Goals, woodwork, cards, tackles, close to the action. Great to be able to support a team in Sheffield capable of winning! Reasonable admission prices, hot not-overpriced refreshments, especially with Coach and Horses next door if you fancy a Thornbridge pint! Choose to stand in sheltered stand up side of pitch, or take a seat in the stand behind the goal. Parking can be tricky, but never too far to walk. A great community experience. Looking forward to seeing Sheffield FC in their new home too.

Great to support a local team - and the oldest football club in the world too.Very tidy little ground.

A lovely little ground, home to the oldest team in the world, quite picturesque with the trees over the bottom corner, seats and shelter available, didn't see a clubhouse but the pub is just outside, enjoyed my visit

I had the best experience with a chat with the Chairman, Richard. Such a wealth if information and history of the club. Was so glad I visited.

As a coach driver the parking was good however the exit is very close to traffic lights with metal fencing. This caused some issues getting out with the turning circle of the Bova.

Excellent match. Fans certainly part of the vlub
