The Dog House

We have used ‘The Dog House’ for about 10 yrs now (our dog is there at the moment). It is an amazing place, staff do really care and they are fantastic with Chester. He is always so happy to go in and gets a lovely warm welcome whenever we go. He really does seem to enjoy his ‘holiday’! I wouldn’t use anywhere else. I would choose not to go away if they don’t have availability for him rather than go elsewhere. It is so reassuring to go away knowing he is so well cared and I would highly recommend them.

My dogs had a trial day here recently. I spent a lot of time watching the webcam as it was their first time in kennel and I was nervous. I was really impressed and reassured. One of my dogs was quite barky when he came in but they gave him space and came to the kennel door to talk to him every now and then, they seemed to know exactly what he needed as sure enough he settled down. They fed the dogs exactly as I had asked and let them out for a good amount of time. Kennel was clean and spacious and the staff on drop off and arrival were friendly and welcoming. I couldn’t have asked for more. Unfortunately dogs won’t be staying this time as they are fully booked on our dates which is not surprising as they are obviously a great kennel. I will not hesitate to contact them next time we go away as I would be very happy for the dogs to stay here.

Our dear big friend Angus had a lovely stay at the Dog House and he was looked after so well by Kerry, Dee and the team and we wouldn’t hesitate to bring him back to you for his next holiday x

We highly recommend The Dog House, we had to extend our 3 dogs stay due to a flood at home and the staff were truly amazing. The facilities are great. We knew they would be well looked after and Diesel, Rolo & Rosie can’t wait to stay again.

Not something we have ever done before, but this was the perfect location, Kennel, for Archie, @archiesday. They looked after him and we booked a grooming session as part of the package.

Definitely recommend. Our very anxious rescue pup nala stayed here recently and the staff could not do enough for her to help her settle and relax during her stay. They kept us updated throughout and really went out of their way to help her. Thank you again

Our dogs had another great stay at The Dog House, such a lovely well run kennels which makes for a nice relaxing break, thanks Dee and all the lovely staff there.

Would recommend! We've used them twice (for one and three weeks) and both times our dog left obviously well looked after. The team are great at communication and giving each dog individual care. They each have their own bedroom, indoor playroom, and outdoor grassy space. Further to this loads of outdoor space. They match dogs in small groups of similar personalities and sizes. We had utter peace of mind (and I am usually over protective of my baby).
