Golden Star Bransholme

2nd time we've ordered. 1st time we ordered waited over 5 hours for our food, gave them the benefit of the doubt. Ordered again waited 3 hours tasted awful will not order again

Food all burnt and cold took over 2 hours to come and the staff don't want to know when you ring them worse Chinese food I have ever had avoid them trust me there is better on bransholme then these

Ordered 25/3/23 6pm spoke to a gent on the phone who cut me off and my 1st impression was unprofessional rang back same gent took my order meal for 4 people for delivery and replied cash only abruptly and be delivered in an hour to which it was.1,Rice cold2,Ribs tough and rubbery3,Chicken balls cold and hard and stodgy4,Chips cold and tasteless5, Allegedly classed as prawn crackers tasteless and very thick and tastelessThe rest of the meals was watery the beef/chicken very tough got jaw ache eating it the rice had to be re heated to eat it the egg foo yung was more like an egg omelet very blandWould I use here again no way what’s so ever £38.70 of wasted tasteless and watery food.

My husband orders from here at least once a week, the food is lovely, always nice and hot but the delivery time is getting worse, 2 hours tonight and 2 phone calls. I was past mine as it didn't arrive till 9.30pm so I won't be ordering anything anymore from here.

Really helpful staff on the front, helped alot while waiting for food and helped with the menu and very kind when asked questions, ordered from here before and given the food a 4 star as sometimes some food seems heated up but still great taste

Always use this takeaway, never had a bad meal. The shop looks run down and needs a bit of a refurb but it's a great Chinese and friendly staff

I purchased from here for the first time and I was absolutely blown away with the delicious food and cheerful staff. I would say it is now our favourite Chinese in Hull. Massively recommend to everyone.
