Beautiful mirrored surface on all sides. Visited in 2017 on the last weekend of the Doctor Who Experience. Great view of the Roald Dahl Plass towards the bay, and I enjoyed *pretending* I was on the lift down to HQ of the Doctor Who spin-off, Torchwood. A little disappointed that the fountain was turned off, but that didn't ruin the fun. (Anyone who says it doesn't move like in the show, it's because it is a SHOW. As in, special effects. Don't know how anyone could expect that cement slab to actually move and reveal an underground facility.)

Made famous by popular BBC series Torchwood, the water tower combines reflective surfaces and a stream of running water. At 70ft high it is a pinnacle point in the bay.

How can you not like the headquarters of Torchwood? A wonderful piece of public art in the centre of a wonderful public space. I have always wondered if two might have been even better, there is the foundation for another one close by.
