Had everything I needed however I bought a nunchuck that didn't work. On the other hand, it has 2 years coverage if I'm not mistaken (if you get their loyalty card. No point system. Just really useful for the protection of your bought items)

Great for some things. I would never buy consoles or high end devices from there but you can find some bargains. Had a few scratched DVDs and dodgy controllers but it's understandable.

I’ve bought and sold with CeX for around 8yrs with no issue, my local store are brilliant (Arnold) I ordered a laptop for £310, grade C so I expected some light damage. What I got was a laptop with a smashed USB port, screen that looked to be glued together, a faulty battery that flagged up when I first turned the laptop on and overall the laptop was slow for which is a high spec unit. Took this to my local CeX to complain and the fulfilment store which was Carmarthen decided to call me a lier and refute all my claims, at This point I’d had the laptop 2 days. After Arnold store backing me and a direct conversation with the online support team this was finally refunded.Being told that I’ve damaged this unit and then being told that the member of staff didn’t even check this laptop before sending it out is a huge red flag! Basically being called a lier without even checking this is so not on.Next time I’m buying online and the option is this store I’ll be thinking twice.I’ll always use my local store, that and the support team are brilliant.Do better CEX Carmarthen!

The one star is for the items my son needed otherwise I would of left and gone elsewhere if there was another choice of shop but there wasn't.There was 3 members of staff all too busy to serve!!Only one started to serve after someone walked directly to him to solve an enquiry as that member of staff previously served him.We waited for 10- 15 mins to be served, nobody else was waiting in the queue, just us. One bloke kept having a sly look at us and then carrying on scanning items on the lap top and the woman decided to tidy the display cabinets. When we finally got served the other two came together to chat about music etc.I told the guy serving that they need retraining in customer service. How customers should be served as promptly as possible to have a quick service and a happy customer but they really don't care.I won't be going back in a hurry

Thanks a lot CEX staff great help for my mum with her new iphone and the help with the struggle with the old problematic one. Great help cnat thank enough. Also noticed there's an autism hour that is scheduled which is a huge help for people with the special needs, or how i like to say. Dis- abilities. Thanks again. Very happy with the help. Bought a IPhone for my son for Christmas on the 29th November. Took it back today as the battery is discharging at an alarming rate.Dealt with a gentleman called Richard who was excellent. Unfortunately the manager (Maria or Malia) couldn't have been more awkward and argumentative. Threatening not to serve me because I wanted a refund.Had to settle for a store credit in the end as sue point blank refused to follow the sales of goods act 2014. She could not have been more negative and aggressive. I will be getting in touch with CEX customer services as she definitely needs some form of training for her people management skills.AVOID AT ALL COSTS. THEY 100% scam your money out of you.

Open until 6 pm it says on the website which was updated recently and 2 staff members were leant over the counter having a good chin wag with the doors locked and one of the staff looked at me and done the hand gesture of his hand moving across his neck, I specifically went to this store as they stated they were open so I’m very unsatisfied and will not be using this store again, this was my first attempted visit and this will also be my last.After reading further reviews this isn’t the first time it’s happened and I can understand why people have said the staff isn’t helpful, very poor experience. Only giving one star as it’s not possible to give a 0 star rating.

Went in to the Carmarthen shop today and as i was there what i think was the manager made the young lad that was finishing his shift empty his pockets before he left the store in front of customers very professional won't be going there again

Had some old phones that I wanted rid of. The young lady who served me was very kind, friendly and very helpful. Going back with other devices not used anymore

Visited this store today and was very disappointed. The staff were very lazy and refused to help me find something that the website said was in stock (4+ copies) by saying they didn’t have any (they clearly did). The shop was a mess, stock all over the floor instead of on the shelves and items marked up with the wrong price. One of the worst CEX stores I’ve ever been into.
