Rochelle did a fantastic job! She was super patient, helpful and nice and helped me in measuring my hair before cutting it off for donation. She gave me a really nice haircut, just like I described it to her and I am very happy and pleased with the haircut. It was quick, pleasant and efficient.

I rang on Saturday and within just over an hour we were given an appointment for my granddaughter to have her hair washed , styled and blow dryed . Every one was so very kind and helpful . Michael the stylist was excellent. Thank you all so much .Frances S

I went today for a haircut with Rochelle. I really couldn't be happier with the results! She was very attentive, professional and kind, and checked at all moments that I was happy with every step. The haircut looks astonishing, and it is really well done for my hair, which is on the thicker side. She also retouched my undercut and curtain bangs, and everything looks perfect now!

5 stars isn't enough. I have been looking for a good stylist in Oxford for a while now and have finally found one. I went into Idlewild a few weeks back looking for a recommendation and was greeted by a friendly confident Michael. I knew right away I had found my new stylist. When I came back for my appointment I was a little nervous but was reassured as soon as I sat down. I decided to go for a short funky cut and showed Michael a few examples of what I was looking for and he made his recommendations. I was so impressed with his level of detail and professional ease. The cut turned out exactly how i wanted it, actually even better. I have no hesitation in recommending Michael if you want to try out a new look or even a trim. I will definitely be back.

This is a fantastic salon, friendly staff and a professional service every time. I drive all the way from Essex simply to have Amy cut and colour my hair here. Amazing cut and colour using quality products, I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I highly recommend this salon.

I would definitely recommend Idlewild, Oxford. Stacey has been colouring my hair for a while now, but this year we’ve tried the Nano Keratin treatment, which is amazing. My natural hair is very thick and very curly but with the treatment I now have straight hair that is incredibly easy to manage. It’s way quicker to blow dry and doesn’t need straighteners. I absolutely love it.

My hair (curly, mid-length) was cut this morning by Michael who did a wonderful job - he was both professional and attentive, and helped me to find the shape and length that worked best for me. I'm very happy with the result!

Sam @idlewild went above and beyond, his customer service exceeded expectations, plus he was a lovely chap. The levels of safety precautions put in place during the return to the new normal are reassuring and the salon is bright and lovely. I would definitely recommend booking an appointment.

Stacey and Mica in the Summertown Salon are both miracle workers- I’d not been to the hairdressers for 2 years and am going grey! All I can say is that I now feel like a new women and 20 years younger! A friendly helpful and attentive service from two highly skilled women - What more could you ask for?
