Fern Cottage Ardentinny

2nd time here. Still as amazing. Already booked next year. Peace quiet stress free. Gorgeous walks and a fab pub at end of road. What more do you need.

This is a fantastic cottage that is extremely well equipped and in a stunning location.We were making sand castles in the sun on Monday and making snowmen in the woods by Thursday.Can’t recommend this cottage highly enough and will definitely be returning

Stayed here last week in November, it is absolutely beautiful, so cozy and warm the kitchen and bathroom are a pleasure to use with all the comforts of home, with a fantastic location on the shore of the Loch, and only a short drive from town, i would highly recommend this property.

This has to be the nicest cottage I have ever stayed in. Felt relaxed as soon as I stepped through the door. Has lots of lovely features, both old and new. A real mix of period charm, with up to the minute technology. It is located right beside Loch Long, with stunning views. So many beautiful walks that are literally on its doorstep. If I had a wish list of things to have in a traditional Scottish Cottage, this place would tick every box. Would whole heartedly recommend Fern Cottage to anyone. Superb!

Nice little cottage, beautiful view, place to go for some peace

Beautiful cottage, it's crafted as the perfect getaway cottage. It's a great mix of both rustic and modern, fitting in with the surroundings but also presenting the modern luxuries in a covert way.The cottage has beautiful stone walls, comfy big sofas, a lovely fireplace and large kitchen. It also has a modern bathroom, with ambient colour changing mood lighting in the large walk in multi-shower!The entertainment system is top notch with a decent smart TV and decent broadband (I expected to have no connection out here but it's around 7-8Mbps I think so streaming is an option).BBC iPlayer is built in to the TV so you can easily stream what you want to watch and there's Alexa so you can ask the cottage questions and it will reply. Alexa can turn the lights on and off if you ask her, or if you want to know the weather for tomorrow, just ask from the comfort of the sofa. The cottage has Amazon Fire Stick TV player so it's full of films and TV series ready to watch.It's clear the owner has put a lot of thought and love in to this cottage, higher end furnishings entrusted to the guests to enjoy along with it being spacious and cosy makes for a lovely getaway.I forgot to mention, it also has a garden where you can BBQ, and a shed with lock to store your bikes.Personally, I can't think of another place I'd rather be if I were staying around here again, which is why I'm certain we will be back soon.

Lovely Cottage, Lovely Views. Great for dogs, enclosed rear garden. No escapes and one of mine is great at finding a way outHooray. Thanks to the owner for listening to the reviews and re-doing the fencing.

5 Star Luxury Holiday Cottage. The perfect Scottish Loch side retreat with a traditional feel and charm. Heaven on earth!
