Deb Reed Celebrant

I recently attended a naming ceremony organised by Deb and was blown away by how personal it was to the family. All those who wanted to contribute were able to with personal messages to the baby. It was a fantastic celebration of a new life joining the family and the support that was available for his whole life. The ceremony was filled with love and emotion and joy. I have never been to a more meaningful naming ceremony.

Having Deb as part of our wedding was one of the best decisions we could have made. From our first conversation to after our special day we couldn’t have asked for anything better. Deb was kind, warm and professional. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a celebrant.

Deb was celebrant for my mums funeral. She was very compassionate & professional. She came to our house making notes while we talked about mums life through emotions, but Deb didn't rush us. She sat & listened & compiled a beautiful reading within days & let us read through it & adjust anything right up to a day before the service. We wouldn't have wanted anyone else leading mums funeral service. Thank you Deb.

I have only wonderful things to say about this special lady. We had Debs lead the interment for my Dad’s ashes. We had already had the funeral a couple of years before and we were now laying his ashes to rest in the beautiful Oakfield Woods, Wrabness.We needed something special but concise and Deb’s had such a good understanding of our needs. She compiled the most perfect words and poems that suited the environment in which the ashes were being placed and that reflected my father’s love of nature. She was gentle, compassionate yet professional. My Mum was bowled over by her calm and controlled manor and my 16 year old daughter said the tone of her voice was like “it was floating on the breeze”. I cannot recommend this lady enough. I would entrust her with any special ceremony, be it a wedding, funeral, interment or naming day because she takes the time to really understand the requirements and understand the individuals involved. Thank you Debs, for giving my Dad the most perfect final resting.

Deb ReedWell how lucky were we!What an amazing lady!They say it’s good to talk,Excited about our wedding we were planning talking to friends about having a Celebrant the next day our friends returned,they give us a number of Deb.One phone call then a visit & chat we found ourselves well on our way with our planning.Deb makes you feel so comfortable like you have known her for years.Having our ceremony at home,Deb made about six visits & went well above our expectations.On one of our later meetings I mentioned about videoing the first part of our special day which involved walking through our garden,Deb mentioned Phill her husband was a gadget man & would be pleased to help so we grabbed the opportunity & what an awesome job he did.The edited video with his photos & music brings tears to our eyes every time we watch it, we show it to everyone!We will treasure it forever.How Deb works with all the different bits of information some very sensitive as our service was not straightforward & timing of things was amazing.I mentioned above & beyondDeb turned our two tricky life stories into the most incredible poem.Yet another treasure for us & a lovely keep sake folder of our special day.We could not give Deb & Phill enough praise for the amazing job they have done.Love them.Gary & Annette
