Preston Hearing Care Centre

I visited Simon for my 12 month hearing test 21/9/2023 and for updates on my hearing aids.The care centre is clean and staff always very welcoming and friendly. I can highly recommend the care centre for any hearing issues you may have, because you will be well looked after, by everyone there. The after care i have received when any issues I may have had has been 2nd to none.

I had an appointment with Sam to have one of my ears cleaned. She was very professional and quick. Sam went through the procedure of what would happen before cleaning my ear and I didn't feel a thing. Very professional and caring people. I do recommend that if you have any hearing problems then visit Preston Hearing Care Centre.

This is my second experience of this Hearing Care Centre and on both occasions it has demonstrated exceptional service. I very much felt that I was being looked after by experts who both knew what they were doing and wanted to provide clear and appropriate advice and guidance. Highly recommended.

I recently purchased some hearing aids from Simon at the hearing centre. I am 64 and my hearing had been declining for a few years. The whole experience was positive from start to finish - Simon and his team are friendly, informative and professional. I can highly recommend them if you have any hearing issues.

Excellent service from everyone and especially Jo. I brought my dad here because he was having problems with his hearing aids. Dad is 86 and is living with Alzheimer’s the staff were understanding and gave me and dad the time needed and treated him with respect. I would definitely recommend this practice. Thanks to you all.

I came across Preston Hearing Centre just over a year ago. We had recently moved house and required hearing services nearby to our new house. They say that you cannot 'judge a book by its cover' and while we were most impressed by the on-line information and the smart look of the business we obviously could not decide if it was suitable without visiting.With an appointment booked we were not disappointed. We were greeted with friendly smiles and a comfortable modern calming interior.Simon appeared and took us through to his work office.After listening to my problem regarding my hearing, Simon undertook a thorough examination and ear wax removal before starting with all the phonic testing to establish just what I could hear.....or not hear as is mainly the case.Satisfied with his findings , we discussed the availability of suitable hearing aids. The prices were acceptable and the readiness of the aids that I had chosen was minimal waiting time.Since then , there has been one or two minor adjustments , some of which are down to me with the App usage etc. However , no matter who we talk to when we ring up, the reception staff are considerate and caring......and they listen, and the audiologists are the same........nothing has been too much trouble.If you are looking to take the steps to have your hearing checked, or require new hearing aids, then we can highly recommend Preston Hearing Centre and the professional, caring team that we are very happy to have found.

The meeting went very well. Jo is an experienced audiologist and answered all our questions.We did learn a couple of things we weren't aware of previously:Change the filters and rubber domes more frequently than the six weeks or so guidelines we were originally given.Take care not to allow the filter to pierce through the rubber dome.Although minor, it would be good to provide a simple user" note from the outset of receiving a hearing aid rather than just relying on the handbook.Overall
