I met some fabulous lovely people and the hard working landlord. I was made to feel very welcome , everyone was friendly and inviting and I had a great evening...thank you all for your hospitality....The pub itself is charming, charismatic and what a traditional country village pubs should be .. i truly recommend you visit 'The Stirrup' 1, its a lovely place 2, please support your local 3, its 350 years old and just charming

Before anyone goes racing to this pub for lunch please be aware they don’t actually serve food, instead they have food vans in the car park on different nights.The pub itself is really nice with a homely feel, the staff were really friendly.It would be unfair to score the pub down based on the food truck but I had brisket and pulled pork. Although it was very tasty I felt the portions were small for what you paid £7.50 the que was extremely long and we had to que for 45 minutes before we received the food. If I was to score the food alone i would probably give it a 3/5 stars based on the portions and wait time but the pub deserves 5 ⭐️

A very nice country pub with a very attractive beer garden with under cover seating outside. Will have to make another but longer visit. A good pint Staropramen lager.

Used to be a very good country pub but now not so good. Lacking in atmosphere and customers. Sad to see it now.We visited on a Friday night but left at 9.
