I would recommend Simpson and Wilde Independent Funeral Directors to everyone. Ben is fantastic, he took care of us every step of the way and made our lives so much easier during those hard times. Ben made us feel comfortable and reassured throughout the whole process on the run up, we had so many questions but it was never too much for Ben.On the day everything was perfect, Ben and his team looked amazing, the vehicles looked amazing and it all just came together for a beautiful send off. Even after the funeral Ben was still there to answer questions and to reassure me. If you are looking for funeral directors that are professional, caring and one that pays a great attention to detail then Simpson and Wilde are the one for you!

Where to start… from the very first phone call Ben was amazing. Myself and my sister are only in our 20’s and the last thing we knew about was funeral planning, speaking to Ben he sat and listened to everything we wanted with so much patience and we walked out the funeral home calm and content. I could communicate with him at anytime and especially once he had collected our dad from the hospital he made us feel so much more at ease knowing he was being taken care of. The funeral was perfect from start to finish and we gave dad the best send off possible. I honestly can’t put into words how glad we had Ben and the team but from all of our Family thank you so much.

I’d like to express my thanks to Ben & all his team at Simpson & Wilde. During the most difficult time in our lives Ben was supportive, professional & compassionate. When we visited the chapel of rest to say goodbye to our dad he made it so calm & peaceful. A celebration of my dad’s life is what we wanted & that’s what Simpson & Wilde gave to us. One thing that will stay with me in my heart is Ben walking my dad out of the street on his very last journey where he lived happily for 48 years. This was such a lovely touch. Ben is amazing. He made myself feel at ease as I lost my husband suddenly.His manner was spot on he made me feel as though I had known him years.When I visited my husband to say goodbye he made me feel at ease and everything was beautiful didn’t feel like a funeral directors.On the day of the funeral Ben arrived at the time specified and conducted my husbands funeral with complete care and compassion.I cannot state enough how helpful and caring Ben was at the most difficult time in my life. Ben was amazing. He came to meet my aunt and uncle and they loved Ben and set up plans with him. Sadly my uncle passed away a few weeks later Ben saw to everything for us it was a simple easy experience thanks to Ben at Simpson & Wilde.
