Herristone Park

Good and quite a empty park but can be packed sometimes

This is the nice park to go to I go everytime during summer times and In school holidays when it not cold

Its a great little park

On this occasion (Wednesday midday) the Park was nice, clean and quite.This is a rather smaller park compared to the other two parks close by which are Heaton park and Crumpsall Park.It's sort of hidden and unless you know Crumpsall very well or you live very close to the park, you might struggle to find it.It has a play Court which can be used to play basketball, Netball, Tennis and a play area for the younger kids, a couple of benches along the footpath and in the kids play area and plenty of grass.Ideal for those with younger children, dogs, wheelchair users, pram users and runners or walkers.It's a lovely place to meet people if you are new in the area or you have kids or dogs or you simply want to play some court games.Ideally not great for cycling as the footpath is not very wide and when busy like on Saturdays or Sundays one would struggle.Also sometimes the park doesn't feel very safe and is rather intimidating especially when they are young teenage boys on their bikes who don't give you way on the footpath and they is no Park security officials near by and without any security cameras I wouldn't take a chance. Other than that the park is lovely and is well kept and great in all weather.So 2 stars less because of no security.

Lovely little park. Good for kids.

I go to this park after school to go home and sometimes I go play in the park to have fun when is summer time.

Great place to play with friends and family, very quiet, no interruptions from people, Forest at the back with a lake, very spacious kind people and environment.I would definitely recommend you to go to this park.

On my door step so it's good for that nice area no dogs allowed in park bit which is a bonus no dog pooh
