As with other reviewers, I am unhappy with the quality of the repair compared to the cost. I went in with worn jumper sleeve. Gave them the wool to repair it. All they did was sew it shut with cotton thread. It’s an ok repair, but not worth the £72 I paid for it. If they couldn’t do the repair they should have told me and charged me what this was worth. I should have paid attention to the other reviews!

Excellent repairs - though only for the best suits and clothes, this is not a simple patch and darn. They really are invisible, but be prepared to open your wallet.Worth it if you have bespoke suits / dresses / lovely sweaters etc.

A moth had eaten it's way through the right shoulder of a pale blue wool coat. I took my coat to them and they had to send it away to be repaired. Two weeks later I returned and was very pleased with the result. The repair was excellent and it is hardly noticeable that there had once been a hole there. Considering where the hole was and the colour of the coat, I was extremely pleased with their service. Expensive in one respect, but I love the coat and it was well worth spending the money to be able to wear it again. I, too, highly recommend this company.

Way too expensive, felt ripped off!I am used to paying high prices for services in Mayfair, central London but when I do, I want to know what I am paying for and feel there is some justification for doing so.I had a small moth hole in a very expensive cashmere jumper, was charged £72 cash only for invisible mending. At first I thought is was a bit expensive but as I was time pressured I went ahead. On collection I asked what exactly had been done and how, but the gentleman couldnt tell me anything and my expensive jumper was casually folded in a plastic bag and given to me.I expected more for £72.As the hole was very small and high on the arm it helps to be hardly noticable anyway but I dont think this is invisible mending as I can see it has been darned from the inside. This is not only specialist" in town and I wont be recommending anyone to go here from my experience."

I am a delighted customer !Undertaking invisible mending is inevitably an expensive activity, but the price was completely justified by the exceptional customer service (including completion of work exactly to timetable) and the outstanding skill displayed in the repair.

Hugely expensive for what it is. Go online and you will find people that will do the same work for a fraction of the price. The guy who works there admitted that they just send the work to Wales to get it done. Start googling there....

I am living in Cyprus and asked a friend to take my grey pinstripe suit jacket to you for repair, on his return to London some months ago. He has just delivered it, wow! Your experts have done a tip-top job of the repair. I can't see where the damage had been, amazing! Many thanks from a well chuffed customer

Excellent repair to my jacket. It's a lot cheaper than a new suit, so a skill I'm happy to pay for. Service was conducted by phone and mail which was friendly, helpful and quick.

The repair to my Tweed jacket seemed impossible without being 'noticeable'. I was quoted £75 and that it would take about two weeks. Fair enough I thought; given the complexity of the pattern and repair. The next day my phone rang and my heart sank as I imagined that they couldn't effect repair of the complex pattern without being 'noticeable. The jacket is ready for collection"
