Very professional and very helpful.

The website is ok it's showing what houses they have for sale, but the section with rentals that I was interested in is empty. Is a sales and letting agency, but they don't post the lettings or is nothing available one of them.

Helen who is rude, with a bad reputation doing lettings.. heard shes under investigation for stealing

I have only telephoned once but the lady on the phone was very kind, understanding and took time to explain a process to me despite not even being a customer. Their approach is clearly working, I don't think they even have any houses available as they have sold every one! I will be keeping an eye on this lovely, local family business and will hopefully be a customer in the not too distant future.

Thorne's took over as the letting agents for the property we were renting. We were told that the owner wished to sell, however Thorne's stated they had prospective investment buyers who would be interested. Especially with an existing sitting tenant. However when Nick Thorne came to the property, immediately you could see the £ signs in his eyes. He immediately asked how much extra we could pay in rent. Fair enough you could say. He stated he had a prospective buyer who he would bring the next morning.I waited in for him until an hour had past the agreed time. Rang office only to be told he wasn't going to be coming. Courtesy call would have been nice.Property had major issues with rising damp etc. Pointed this out to Thorne. He asked if it was possible for his builder to view issues. So again hoping to show us as good tenants showed builder around at great length.Farcical thing then was Thorne's wanted me to ring around several damp companies to get them a quote for remedial work to be done.In the meantime we were served with the Section 21 notice giving us 2 months to quit. No prospective investors came to light in this time.Even on the final day when keys were due to be handed back. We were told to meet at property to have a final walk through regarding bond. However he could not be bothered to do this and just told me to drop keys into office.Totally unprofessional.

Nick always gives 100% to sell the property. A much more caring attitude than the larger estate agents. Would use again and highly recommended.

The only reason they get a 1-Star is because the house was nice.First off, agent was late but didn't contact me to say this, I had to call and then was told they'd be late. Okay, I'll get over that.Then when he gets to the house and shows me in (yes he did apologise initially) there was about 5 minutes of brief comments before his interest in me, the house or the viewing dwindled. I saw myself out to the garden where I was for about 5 minutes, he was the whole time leant up against the utility room surface scrolling through his phone. I walked in and made a comment, he replied without even looking at me. I went upstairs for a good ten minutes viewing the entire house where he had the cheek to even make a phone call. Now I don't need my hand held but at least walk around the house with me and ask if I'm okay he takes a call. Of course it would have been fine. I eventually walk downstairs, look behind and see him still on the phone and I say bye I'm leaving. Quick as a flash he hangs up and comes to ask me what my thoughts are. Well my thoughts are that I cannot possibly put in an offer because you are the worst and most unprofessional agent I've ever met. Not a care in the world and I felt that I was putting him out. Not just the agent, this man owned the bloody company.What a shambles.
