Doors opened at 6.45, nearly all of a party of 30 only had one canape (mine was missing half of it too!). Starters were served at 9.30 and mains were served at 10.30. Safe to say we were starving by the time we ate! They made a mistake with the booking online and let us book dodgems when they were not available. Bottles of bubbly were offered as compensation however I had to chase this up on the day because we were not provided. By midnight I decided to leave, at which point there was no sign of desert. What's advertised online is nothing like what is presented in person. Very very disappointing.

Worst Parties ever more like!I believed I was purchasing an evening event for my staff with performances, food and entertainment throughout. The website certainly shows an evening of entertainment being provided. In previous years we have booked the Speiletent and the marketing makes it look comparative. However the reality was I was utterly embarrassed at how shocking an evening we all had.1 - Food - there were no canapés served to us, nor could we see any being served in the venue. But more importantly we didn’t receive our main meal until 10.25pm and our plate of (poor quality) desert, slapped on the middle of the table at 11.10pm. This really is unacceptable. The event started at 6.45pm.2 - Lack of Entertainment - I purchased a ticket to include entertainment and a show and whilst there was a trapeze artist from time to time, she was surrounded by people queuing for the bar so we couldn’t actually see her (not could anyone apart from those in the bar queue). I didn’t hear any live music although I believe there was a singer so far at the back of the room she couldn’t be seen nor heard.3 - Security - there were some incredibly rowdy people around us yet no staff on hand to keep them in check. Before 9pm we had several bread rolls thrown at us and three separate people flash genitalia. The lack of food probably didn’t help then general drunkeness situation so early on in the night.4 - Covid - we received an email telling us they were doing everything they could to keep us safe" and that we should feel assured coming to the event. I find it hard to believe they made any effort to keep people safe. The tables where crammed together to literally get the most people into a space possible - and I mean this pre covid level uncomfortable crammed .There were massive bar queues and a real shortage of staff.In short

Very disappointed of lack of water on the tables! If someone was choking on some food it would cause a outrage! Water is essential! I ended up forking out £20 for drinks, because the food was making me thirsty! They even had the cheek to leave out glasses, for wine not water!All, and all my Rio experience was terrible, lack of food and lack of drink.

Food ok but poor service. Desert ok.Cleared my drink (half a glass still) off the table whilst I was gone to the toilet.Fair entertainment.Not quite ergonomically laid out.Not clean, poor service, dirty toilets, unsafe, trailing cables and lights, hanging cords...Sticky dance floor.Unsteady chair.Drinks watered down, no measures used.Only one serviette with the cutlery, one salt and one paper for 11 people.Nice security people.Nice heating features outside.
