Sainsbury's Local

The security guards are very rude and creepy. I was sat at Starbucks in the train station connected to their WiFi then the Sainsbury’s security guard on duty that evening 13/12/2022 17:30 pm walked out of the shop and stood there watching me the whole time. I’m sorry but he works at Sainsbury’s, and I was sat in Starbucks so I think he should mind his own business and know his place

Me and my partner went into the Sainsbury’s in Leeds train station at about 8:20pm on 22nd November 23, we both noticed that the woman behind the till looked a bit tipsy,(we don’t know how this hasn’t been noticed by any of the staff/management/team leaders) she didn’t care what was going on, throwing stuff about making a little joke to her self, not really talking to any customers, she stumbled and asked me 2 times what I wanted behind the counter each time I pointed stumbling again and laughing about it basically the queue was rather long and it only seemed to be her on the shop floor

A tiny store but with a surprisingly large range, and everything has always been well stocked when I’ve visited. There’s a large amount of self-checkouts available but enough staff on hand if you need. A good facility in the station for all the essentials you could need.

Unfriendly abrupt woman authorized transaction then walked away but it wasn't done for me to make payment. Should be some cash self service tills also. Left without my purchase

Visited store at 11:45, and had a bit of a negative experience on the checkout. I found the lady a bit rude as I was not greeted nor offered a reciept which I really needed, no smile or welcoming body language what so ever. A thing to reflect on.

Has a narrow selection of items at higher prices than you may expect. It's a solid choice for stocking up on refreshments before travelling, but if you have the time, maybe nip into the centre proper for lower prices and a wider selection.

Me and my partner visited the shop today and was very upset with the work staff's attitudes. As soon as I entered a lady named Ellen commented on my appearance and made me feel very uncomfortable and self conscious. My partner was attempting to buy a item from the smoking section and was asked for proof of ID which is understandable but after he had presented it the young guy serving named luke asked for mine, I was not attempting to buy any of these items and I do not smoke myself. I didn't have it on me at the time but showed every one I had my birth certificate at the time and explained I do not want it and I was wanting a different item. He would not serve us at all and was very rude to my partner. We ended up putting our items back and leaving the shop because of the attitude of the staff to then I also had another comment from Ellen on my way out! I am very disappointed with the experience I had today and will definitely not be returning. Feel very let down! I am only a young girl and for a grown adult women to comment on my appearance more than once has definitely upset me.

Absolutely useless store no pet food whatsoever its just an embarrassment

Security thought I was in their shop lifting. All I wanted was oxo stock cubes. The pair of them were following me very creepily

The male employee with the white hair was incredibly polite and helpful
