Had dinner at the upstairs restaurant. The sea bass main was absolutely delicious - very well cooked. Others in the party loved the fish and chips. Very helpful and friendly service as well. Great views across the harbour too. Would definitely eat here again.

We had lunch in the bar. My companions had a ciabatta with salad and crisps and they were very happy with them. I had Cullen skink (a thick, creamy fish soup) in a hollowed out roll. The soup was absolutely delicious, though I did think the ratio of bread to soup was slightly out, a little more soup would have been good. It was really tasty though and had a properly homemade taste

We were looking forward to our meal in the restaurant but we're disappointed. Waitress was very quiet but we didn't see much of her. Not as much fish on the menu as I expected. Noisy in the restaurant - could the coffee machine be moved? Service wasn't brilliant and we left earlier than usual.

We had dinner at the pub. The lamb was fantastic. They started serving dinner at 5:30. We got there a little early and we're glad we did because it filled up quickly once dinner started. Service was great. I would highly recommend stopping in.

We go here quite frequently, food is always good, the beer menu is outstanding and the staff are always welcoming and friendly.

Fantastic hotel. The location was excellent. Staff was all friendly. The room was larger than we were expecting and the bed was comfortable. Would definitely stay here again

We've only visited the Restaurant, that is on the 2nd floor. But the food was really well cooked, well displayed and the staff were lovely! I cant say one bad thing , about this Restaurant! Prices were good as well, Nothing Overpriced!

Just had a meal for our anniversary, one of few places open Monday evening. Food OK, but overpriced, Aberdeen prices? Same grub at nearby restaurants cheaper. Great beer selection, thanks to 6degN ownership.Was quiet when we were in, so probably 1 to 1 staff punter ratio, lol.

Too many things to list, but the fact there was a function on in the hotel which was directly underneath the bedrooms , and the restaurant was closed are but just rwo. The noise from the function carried on until nearer 1 in the morning. Had we been made aware of this at the time of booking we could perhaps made other arrangements. As for breakfast! That was continental, which we knew at the time of booking but the choice was poor and on short supply. Despite my efforts to make contact with this hotel to discuss the matters my emails have been ignored and no one is answering the telephone or replying to my messages I have left. Definitely not good enough for Scottish hospitality.

Fuimos a cenar al restaurante y fue todo un acierto.Los camareros muy simpáticos, nos atendieron fenomenal.Nos habían dicho que Stonehaven era el mejor sitio para comer fish&chips y fuimos a por ello. El pescado estaba rico, pero no fue lo mejor de la cena. Recomiendo mucho más los mejillones (deliciosos) y los arenques con patatas.Un descubrimiento.
