Been coming here intermittently for about 2 years. Mainly for getting film developed, but also getting lenses repaired, films stuck in cameras or anything else. Always lovely and always willing to help, no matter how busy.What I really love is the encouragement of all kinds of photography, wether I want to shoot on a 40 year old pile of junk or a top of the range Canon 5D.With the revival of film shooting, this place is 100% the place to go.

This is the best place to get your film developed. Same day colour service and amazing prices! The guys who work here know everything about photography! I wouldn’t go anywhere but here. Highly Recommend.

I have been going to Photosound for years now and often pop in to have a handful of photos developed. I have just purchased a second camera from them and felt the need to give a 5* review... I went in with my requirements and for advice on the best camera for the job. They are knowledgable, patient, professional and all in good humour. It took me a few days to decide and they were more than happy for me to wait and make the right decision. When I collected it they showed me through all the parts and genuinely meant it when they said pop in with any questions". I've been using this shop for years and they never let me down. Recently I decided to reinstate my SLR camera and lenses. They went to great lengths to explain the features and benefits and actually saved me money compared to a superstore. This is because they explained the nuances of various components and steered me to a more practical solution. Thanks again guys.

I was struggling to find a specific Fuji film camera in chrome and like other stores I had tried they only had black. They said to leave it with them and within 30 mins they called back to say they had found one. They had it in the store for me the next day. Awesome service. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and the camera I bought was the same price as Amazon.

I cannot recommend Photosound Cameras enough!Not only was I totally satisfied with the service and assistance I received...i also watched Steve spend a long time with a customer explaining resolution.... Frame size... Etc... He did so in a enthusiastic helpful manner eventhough there clearly was no prospect of a sale (the customer was trying to find out more)Old school values and customer service in this day and age... Priceless!

Such a helpful gentlemen. I simply went in to get my passport photo taken, this was done in 5 minutes all linked up with a code for the gov website ready to go. Thank you

Outstanding Service! The day before I had been to CameraWorld in Chelmsford and received sub-par service and so I was apprehensive when I visited this store. I should not have been because whilst they could not provide the t-mount I thought I needed, I was talked through every possible alternative to what I could do in the limited time I have before my holiday. I was allowed to test out one of the lenses on my camera to be assured it was what I wanted, and left happily with my new lens. I couldn't recommend them any more than I am doing! Thank you so much!
