Town and Country was our solicitors back in 2013 when we purchased our property and now 2023 we approached them for paying off help to buy through remortgage. I had no clue as to how I was going to pay off then Target now called Help to buy however T&C was excellent. Their knowledge in this field is absolutely incredible. T&C team has been very helpful and responsive in sorting out all issues on buying the new build without missing any deadlines. I truly feel their effort in trying to get the things done because my situation indeed created a few technical issues on papers, and without T&C’s support, I won’t be able to get the keys of my new house on time! The whole process from my first down payment to getting the keys on completion only takes 4 months (for me as an overseas buyer)! This is almost miracle to me! Thanks again for my solicitors T&C and I would recommend them to any new buyers including overseas purchasers with no doubt!

Absolutely terrible experience with Cathrine Johnson and colleagues at T&C. What should have been a simple move for first time buyers to a chain free home took them 8 months to complete. Due to the delay our mortgage offer expired and we had to reapply which cost us an additional £300 per month due to the increase in interest rates. Cathrine is rude and was not very empathetic to our situation, appearing to lack urgency to push the sale through. A year after completion important documents in regards to our property, were sent to our old address despite referencing our new address in the document and commenting on how they hoped we had settled well into our new home. Absolute disgrace, will not be using their services again!

Highly recommend this wonderful team for house moves. We had Claudia assigned to our case, and it was very challenging due to other solicitors in the chain, but Claudia continued to work very hard on our behalf and thanks to her outstanding practice, professionalism and general kindness she managed to prevent the whole sale falling through by going above and beyond for us.
