First time going for the yearly charity fishing for Candlelighters.What a beautiful place. So peaceful and pretty.The three lakes are full of fish and there are birds everywhere, we heard more than we saw though!We saw ducks, geese and moorhens and caught four fish.We were glad to learn that this place is catch and release, and even happier with the fish friendly soft nets and barbless hooks.I'd highly recommend it even for amateur fishers like us if you're looking for a peaceful relaxing day out and love fishing.

Sorry but its my individual experience. 1 fish all day. Blokes on ther side bagged up and over 80lb won match. I fished where I drew my peg but the fish were all in big noses net!

Not fished it for years probably nearly 20,when was carp Vale. Didn't recognise the place,comfy spacious pegs. Walked around the 2 bigger lakes,not the other nearer entrance. Had 4 carp out on pole,close in,mate 8 on feeder. Short session,owned by Leeds a/a ,day tickets available.Will be back! Bailiff on site,doing work when we there,very helpful.

Been fishing this venue for that’s three years and I have seen the transformation that the bailiffs and their team have achieved. All stages have been made to give ample room for your box/chair and all your tackle, the trees have been carefully trimmed and the reeds cut back to allow easy margin fishing. The stock of carp is abundant many into double figures, silver fish also not left out. All in all a great fishery.
