Apps ok but the actual location still had queues to enter & there was no ANCPR barrier as stated. I understood that pre-booking was mandatory, actually you could still buy tickets on arrival. Had to scramble for your phone to show the attendant you’ve pre-booked! Hence the usual queues.So easier for the recipient of your money but no different for the customer!…Becoming the norm’Good sandy beach though, the tide goes out for miles leaving lovely warm pools, great for the kids!Can be a bit windy, so taking a wind break is a must.There is also kiosks to buy refreshments.

Just spent a Sunday at West Wittering beach as a local family. The queues were unbelievable to get drinks and food and we spent and hour and a half in the car park queuing to get out.This smacks of greed when do you say the car park is full ? The new parking system to pay is a nightmare too !

Long sandy family beach. Windsurfing. Dog friendly at either end.. Not middle. Well organised car park , although rumours it can be troublesome on the road in if people arrive that haven't pre booked. Parking tickets seen on cars parked on the verges before the beach.

Extortionate private car park which the council is complicit in forcing you to use by preventing parking anywhere else within walkable distance.Basically a money making scheme for a private company which relies on the fact you have no other choice if you want to visit this natural resource which belongs to everyone. Go to another beach or find another way to get there. Just don’t give them your money.

A beautiful white sandy beach, it was bit crowded but we still managed to find place to sit. There is ample amount of space for parking, we pre-booked for parking and saved 25%. It's has clean toilets, there's a special W/C for wheelchair and infant. There's also cafe's available.

The beach itself is amazing. The parking is a bit on the expensive side, but I didn't mind it as the beach was so family friendly and the sand was lovely. We've been here many times and come back every year.

Handy takeaway. Decent chips but the coffee is the worst. Takes the description Burnt Water to a whole new level. Deserves much better.
