Make of this what you will.. I ordered at 18:45 and was told 19:20 delivery time. I got a call at roughly 19:40 saying that they were waiting for a delivery driver.During the phone call, the guy asked me if we wanted salt & vinegar on our fish & chips, to which I agreed, obviously. However, they never even planned to put any salt & vinegar on our meals, due to the fact they never planned to deliver it.. and here's why:The chippy shuts at 8:30pm. We never received another call after 19:40. They thought that they could simply 'go quiet' and the problem would go away, but it hasn't. It's now 9pm, 30 mins after this place has shut and my order is still sat on their filthy little hotplates waiting for that dose of salt & vinegar that they will probably add tomorrow and call me to suggest a delivery time 24hrs in advance.Note: I have revisited this review and lessened the harshness, as I feel it's been out there publicly for a while now. I am willing to remove this review altogether if I am sufficiently impressed when I give you a second chance. Sometimes we can't all perform to the best of our ability due to any number of uncontrollable variables, and I should understand that, but for now the review still stands. I hope I am changing the star rating from a 1 to a 4 within the next 6 months.

I’ve just been for two fish large chips and mixed meat and chips, costing £22.80. The meat was burnt and lukewarm, the fish and chips was very greasy and lukewarm. The member of staff didn’t ask if we wanted salt and vinegar on anything and just put it on, my husband asked for salad and got three pieces of cucumber. Won’t be going back again

Food is nice but the man who owns it is rude and got our order wrong, I gave him £20 and he turned his back and swore, then said one second and complained I was taking all his change. He put through on the till sausage chips and gravy then proceeded to put curry on the food instead of gravy, personally I would avoid, I wasn't massively bothered he got our food wrong but I was bothered with how rude he was, I prefer to give my money to businesses that respect people

The batter on the fish was slightly greasy, but the fish itself was delicious, as were the chips and curry sauce. The staff were super-friendly, too. I'll definitely be back.

Just placed an order for over £50 for fish and chips, had 6 lots of fish turn up but NO chips, called to enquire as to what had happened and was told yeah sorry we know

Had a fantastic meal, ordered fish, chips and a curry sauce, by far the best fish and chips i've had in years, fresh, lovely crisp batter. Would recommend the fish and chips from here.

If you want a rock hard burger, items missing off your order and bad customer service on the phone, order from here. Also sent a message on messenger and been ignored…

Really friendly service, they put fresh chips on for us as it was late in the day, and prepared fresh salad also. Kebab meat wasn't cooked properly as it seemed like they hadn't been cooking it recently. Should be really good when more people go and it's a little busier!
