One of the most beautiful bookstores I’ve ever been to! Helene is very kind, knowledgeable and helped me find one of the books I’ll cherish forever in my life. They have a lot of first editions and books that will touch your mind and soul. Definitely coming back to get more books

Seemingly the terminal repository for discarded books.An accumulation of orphan volumes teetering heavenwards with a narrow shuffle space offering passage between a divided Red Sea of precarious volumes.A quirky befuddlement, smothered with inertia and a potent destination for bibliophiles.Prices be reasonable, some even “cut-froat.”This be a worthwhile destination in its own right.

One of the best ways to spend an hour or two if in Putney; quite possibly the best secondhand bookshop to get lost in, the volumes filling the windows, spines facing from floor to ceiling so you can even peruse when closed plus a good turnaround of stock keeps me coming back! Always friendly and welcoming, my grand daughters love sitting on the floor and scanning volumes before making a choice and never disappointed.

I mean the photos speak for themselves, this secondhand book shop is so cute and has so much! The prices are of course fair as the books are secondhand. Staff were helpful to me and friendly as well which always makes a difference.

Always a great source of books! They have many more hidden in storage, if you ask about it. Ray the shopkeeper is a lovely person. Highly recommended to all book lovers, but don't take with you more than one friend... the place is tiny.:)
