We have had a few takeways from Sapphire Star recently and the food has always been delicious . We recently placed an order for a party of 11 and the food was delivered on time, still warm and was enjoyed by everyone. Thank you

Update: I have reduced to 3*. So disappointed, we ordered and were overcharged. I had presumed there had been another price increase but when the new menus came with our order the prices were the same. I called straight away but was informed it was the driver's last delivery and was going home (around 9pm) and that a credit note would be added to our account. The next time I called I asked for my credit note only to be greeted with complete denial of any kind of system regarding credit notes and that the manager would call. I said we were hungry so how long would this take? Glad I asked as the manager was not due until the next day! Which was irrelevant as no one has ever called. Only £6.25 but we will not be ordering again. So sad as the food was delicious.Original review: Best Indian for Many Months, really tasty and filling. I did make my own coconut rice but under £20 for two. The Sheek Kebabs were deliciously spiced, the Pakoras were lovely juicy chicken and went up a level when dipped in the dressing. Plenty of coconut in the Nan bread and not too sweet. There were plenty of prawns in the Korma and lots of sauce which was delicately spiced and sweet. When I called the chap was very friendly and helpful on the phone, took down our slightly complicated address easily and the driver found us no trouble, who was also very jolly and friendly and the food was piping hot.

I had a take away last night and after reading the reviews just had to leave mine. I order from here about once a month i suppose and have to say that each time the food is lovely and the staff are very friendly. I have the Chicken Dansak with coconut rice, absolutely lovely !!!

Wow ….had a hair in my food and could not eat the dish after. Spent £30 and I emailed no reply and than I phone to ask if emailed received and spoken with are you ordering now! I say no before I have chance to say shall I resend email hang up on me !!! Poor customer service , poor hygiene AVOID!!!

Good food. One of the better Indian takeaways in Heathfield.

So yesterday night we ordered a £45 takeaway with delivery (5 mins away). The delivery arrived on time. Upon unpacking we noticed that one of the main courses was missing. We telephoned the restaurant and they said we could receive a credit off of our next order as they were too busy to sort it out! After explaining that the missing item was actually someone’s dinner and that a credit note would not help very much they grudgingly agreed to deliver the missing meal that would arrive in 30 minutes.Needless to say, the missing item never arrived.We won’t give our business to a place that cares so little about its customers and so will not order again.

Great takeaway. Order online via their website. Arrives speedily, great selection especially the Thali dishes

Just received a delivery...never used this curry house before. Delivery on time and curry was ok and hot. However the starter was cold and no description on butterfly prawn. Was covered in very crispy batter including shell from the prawns ....wasn't expecting that....was expecting more. The kebabs were OK but not sure what the very runny white liquid was....I expect it might be mint yoghurt....thank you for being on time

We had an absolutely delicious take away last night. You can tell everything is cooked fresh and the spices and sauces are delicious .Service comes with a smile and advice if you need it. Nothing is too much trouble from this lovely family.Highly recommended.

Tried for first time picked up chicken dansak keema nan keema rice plus onion Baja lovely hot food cooked to perfection. Not Open on Mondays .
