We visited later than usual, 9.30pm. It was pretty quiet. The shop floor staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Not one manned checkout on, the trolley self service tills were closed and we had a big trolley to put through the basket self service area along with a fair few other customers which made it tight for space and a bit stressful. One member of staff assisting who looked frazzled (because it was so busy and people queuing for an available till.The store is clean and tidy, shelves were well stocked and the staff filling shelves were really considerate of shoppers which was lovely to see when you compare it to other large supermarkets who treat you like an inconvenience. Discounts for having a clubcard are great too. It's definitely my preferred supermarket. We usually get a delivery as I find stores a chore, but it wasn't too bad.The car park is tidy, clear layout and well lit.

Used to be a great store, but prices are raising exponentially and the amount t of self service checkouts make shopping a real chore. The latest checkouts for trolleys are particularly bad, as custo.ers need an assistant to verify their shopping bags before you can start packing the items you've purchased. The self service tills struggle if you try and purchase more than one of the same item.In many recent visits, fresh produce is regularly low on stock or totally unavailable.

Rude security man. Seeing I was struggling to walk he refused to let me out the swinging doors despite him being stood near them to let me out. He told me I had to walk all the way back through checkout exits. If it wasn't for this incident I would give it more stars but I left feeling upset by his carelessness.

Tried using the cafe at 3pm on a saturday, tried ordering 3 meals and was informed they didnt have any of them in stock so we sat down with our drinks which we just purchased from tesco to think about another order and the staff came straight over and said you cant eat or drink in here unless you bought it from the cafe" to which i replied "we did just try to buy food but you have nothing" we were asked to leave

It's massive and offers practically everything you could possibly be looking for. You have to know your prices I was amazed at some huge variants between them and opposition supermarkets, in both directions I hasten to add. On a plus there were some great offers. The store provides adequate parking and a petrol station. Best buy of the day was the bread cakes from the bakery they were absolutely wonderful

Went to Hall road this morning and Tracey (lovely blonde hair lady with glasses) was AMAZING! So helpful, nothing was too much trouble. She is a credit to Tescos and a staff member to most certainly keep. Thank you Tracey

Food is packed and dispatched from this store to the Beverley area for delivery. Over the last 4 weeks we have noted that their hygiene practices are no longer fit for purpose with raw meat being placed next to (and touching) other cooked and ready to eat items in the same delivery tray without protection (eg plastic bags) to reduce the risk of contamination with bacteria such as salmonella. We have reported it 3 times to the drivers and twice to the phone operator. We have been told that there is nothing that they can do. We have been advised there is no complaints department now for problems related to Tesco deliveries and that we need to complain via social media (!). We have cancelled our year pass for delivery.

Ordered a breakfast in the cafe at 11.14 am, at 11.58 I asked the lady on the till how much longer it would be as I had now been waiting almost 45 minutes. The lady on the till said, quite rude and abrupt, it couldn't of been 45 minutes". I checked the receipt and told her it was definitely 45 minutes
