Mayfair Carpets

I was supposed to have vinyl fitted today and after multiple calls and being told the fitter will come between 1-3pm then oh you're his last job etc...no fitter has turned up. Very unprofessional and disappointed in the service and the way I was spoken to by Elaine. I've paid for a service with much time in advance and expect for it to be done or atkeast updated if there is any issue. There was no excuse as I live round the corner from the shop, as to why there's been a no show. Would not recommend or get your own fitter do not use theirs. I will be going in tomorrow to make a formal complaint.

Awful customer service. All they want is your money. They over charge you and also sell you also provide you with a product from the warehouse which smells like it's been left out in the rain. Please be careful.

Went to United and SCS and there carpet quality was the same but twice the price lol.

Not very pleased, first time customer and already had a problem, they rang and rebook the fitting. Mess up with all my plans. Not happy at all.

Not impressed at all paid for all of my carpet to be fitted in my flat and it was a total Mess up, wrong colours for what I asked for when the fitter came to fit the carpet. I asked them to come again and fit the right carpet I paid and asked for and they made the same mistake again. I suggest no one comes here for there carpet to be fitted tried to fob me off with cheap carpet, the Fitter also turned up late not impressed.

No bad. Pretty much the same prices as mainstream carlet shops. Quality is ok.

Great selection and prices. Have been using this place for my carpets for years. Always professional and knowledgeable service from the staff here. No pushy salesman like you get in the national chains. Here, you can browse without being harassed, any questions and the staff are more than happy to help. The carpet fitters are also top class, never had any problems.

Had our carpet fitted the other month. They turned up at 7:30, hours later than quoted. I originally felt sorry for them working at that time but ever since I’ve noticed the shoddy work. They must’ve bodged it to be done quick. Edges of the carpet coming up, lose round the stairs where it’ll no doubt sag at some point and left with tons of left over carpet that had me thinking we’d been over sold.I’d emailed the company after trying to call for days and got zero reply. No apology no follow up nothing. Wouldn’t recommend them at all.

A client of mine had these muppets fit the house out,Carpets went in well, but when it came to vinyl downstairs, we were put back twice due to them struggling to go through the complexed task of learning how to use a tape measure that they got free with a kinder egg. But however when they’d sorted that difficult task out being the geniuses they are they then had to learn an even harder task….. telling the time, they not only turned up whenever they felt like it they managed to get the sizes wrong too and missed off a room completely.After our handsome fitter had finished putting the floor down with adhesive just strong enough to hold bog roll together, a catapult and a beaver on a stick he went on his way leaving more bubbles than an aero, threshold strips you could limbo under and cuts rougher than Madonna’s new face.You pay peanuts you get………….. idiots with zero pride in their work.
