Love this place!! Amazing service and food. All the waiters are friendly and have great customer service. Food is excellent and service is quick. Decor is lovely in the restaurant and it is very clean. Would highly recommend!!

Wife and I booked a table on Friday night and were seated at 8pm. Main course finally arrived at 9.30pm, by which point we were sitting in a mostly empty restaurant. When we chased to find out where our mains were, the waitress responded that ‘the kebabs always take a long time to make’ as if that was obvious and I should have been prepared to wait well over and hour for my food. My fault for ordering the wrong thing off their menu I suppose! We were also told that it probably just felt like a long wait because the tables around us were empty. I didn’t follow this logic. The tables around us were empty because all the other diners in that part of the restaurant had been served and eaten their meals and gone home by the time ours arrived. The supervisor did take two drinks off our bill, to her credit, and did acknowledge it was not acceptable. However, our original server just didn’t seem to want to own the problem and admit there had been a mistake - this is frustrating for a hungry diner who just wants to know what is happening with their food.Food was actually really nice when it arrived and they get great credit for having a full gluten free menu, which you don’t see often. It’s just a shame that when the main finally arrived our enjoyment of the food was secondary to relief that we could finally eat something. I’m afraid to say this ruined the evening.

I love the food and atmosphere here. The prices are a little high, almost £5 for a coke and nearly £20 on average per main meal. The food is good, but I do wish the portions were bigger (the only reason I'm giving 4/5 stars) I always have to order sides/extras to bulk up my meal. The set menu is great value for money though.

Loved it here!Excellent service, good food...there were 16 of us on 2 tables of 8 and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The restaurant itself is beautifully done throughout. Will definitely go back.

Lovely place enjoyed my soup starter very much enjoyed my Eton mess pudding very much too but the main meal was warmish and looked as if it had been plonked on the plate not presented very well. But all in all a good time was had by all .

Food was lovely and reasonably priced. Service was really good and staff were polite and friendly.Great location, just a few minutes walk from Cosmeston Lakes, which was handy. Will go back if I'm in the area and would definitely recommend.

A very welcome, unplanned visit one autumn afternoon whilst making our way or a walk around Cosmeston County Park: this excellent restaurant is a perfect venue for the short trip to or from the park.We booked a table online which was straightforward. Plenty of parking space. The interior is really tasteful and cosy, with the tables being well-spaced. The service throughout was excellent. The lunchtime menu was wide-ranging, great value, and - most importantly - absolutely delicious. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely be going back!

Great selection midweek. Reasonably priced. Kebabs better than botanist. 5 star service and good selection of deserts. Easy to park.

Coming out from Penarth, on the road found very nice restaurant :) very clean, looking lovely. No booking for Thursday night wasn’t a problem. Fresh ingredients and ideal dinner on the way.
