Hanover Dental Practice

They called me the day before my appointment to cancel as the dentist decided they would take a holiday (this appointment has been booked for 12 months). I tried to book a new appointment and was told that they are not taking bookings until 5 months later, 7 months later for an appointment at a similar time. No accommodation for the fact that they cancelled my appointment. Receptionist was snappy at the fact that I didn't find this acceptable!

A massive thank you to all at Hanover dental practice.Over the last 8 months I’ve been receiving Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy treatment and have had to change and cancel appointments (some at very short notice). I’ve also had to book an emergency appointment and an urgent check up appointment. All of this has been with minimal effort on my part and maximum assistance from the surgery in arranging/rearranging appointments to tie in with my treatment and me feeling well enough to attend.I cannot thank the staff enough for their support over the last eight months, the reception staff, dentists and hygienist have all been wonderful.Thank you again :-)

Terrible clinic, my tooth started to hurt like hell, I made an appointment, I take painkillers, the day of the appointment they cancel, reschedule the next day, again I wait for the appointment, and they also cancel a few hours before the appointment. They don't help people at all. I also want to cancel, the unpleasant woman at the reception, when I was sitting in line, a guy came, he wanted to make an appointment, he still spoke English poorly, she told him I’m busy, come back tomorrow. I don’t recommend this clinic to anyone, it’s a waste of time

Been today first time in over 3 years receptionists were very helpful and friendly the dentist was so patient with me as I was nervous but he soon made me feel very comfortable so happy to have a dentist again

Overall a positive experience for my first visit today at Hanover Dental. First impressions were not great due to the interior and decor of the building, it looks like a building site so this concerned me. However the staff were efficient and pleasant, I didn't have to wait too long and my dentist Dr Hena and her assistant were lovely. Very satisfied with my treatment and check up and it's because of my experience with Dr Hena that I will be returning for my next check up. Staff on reception were helpful and pleasant to deal with.

I have to leave this review as I feel most of the others are either outdated or unfair.We just moved to this practice after not seeing a dentist for some time and our last dental appointments left us both with a fear of the dentist.We only waited a few moments before we were shown into the room with out dentist Junaid, It was The Best appointment for both of us. Gentle, informative and we came out looking forward to our next visit . All the staff were friendly and helpful and we can't thank them enough.

Excellent . The lady dentist that I see Hene is brilliant. I don't know why I worry so much. She is very good. The receptionist is so helpful. Yes there have been times they've had to cancel but I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Wouldn’t even give it a 1 star sat waiting nearly 2 hours for an appointment because the daft girl on reception didn’t mark I was there now got to wait till next month for another appointment hopefully this time I get seen! Receptionist needs sacking! First visit too lol lucky if I turn up for the the other appointment. “Apology” isn’t good enough.

We have been here for many years and yes there has been a few teething problems (sorry about the Pun!) as there has been changes. However every time we’ve been in touch they have been fantastic.The Receptionist with my little lad was superb. She proper made him feel at ease and even had him laughing (and he is a nervous patient!). The Dentist and the members of staff in there were brilliant with him and me when I’ve been and all in all a great service!!There’s are a lot of bad reviews on here but they are working hard under stress and strain from the last two years and also the lack of Dentists. We need to be patient and friendly and they will sort out the problems!!Excellent from the moment we walked in til the moment we walked out.

Not reliable at all. Original check up was booked in for March they cancelled the day before. There was then another two cancellations from them over a four month period until I finally had my check up in July. The following week I needed two fillings so booked in on the Monday which was cancelled that morning. Rebooked for the Thursday as apparently they aren’t doing appointments for the whole of August so this was the final opportunity and surprise surprise the dentist wasn’t in again. Five working days I’ve had book off this year and all for nothing. Time wasters these lot they turn in when they feel like it.
