Leicester Forest East Services Northbound

Judging from its build and appearance, one of the older service stations on Britain's motorways. North-bound, it's small but has a food court with several well-known purveyors of utterly average beverages & fare for those who aren't fussy. There's a Starbucks (where isn't there?), a Burger King, a Subway and an Asian noodle place, plus the ubiquitous, shabby WHSmith.

You've done a nice job of resurfacing the lorry Park, but you could have put and abnormal load bay somewhere so we don't have to park on double yellows.

The service station itself is okay. The biggest let down is the fact there are still massive potholes on the exit slip which Welcome Break clearly aren't worried about repairing. Avoiding another visit until the exit slip is fixed which I don't expect will be anytime soon.

what is the point that is not available during those time when should be as a Motorway service which called that name for. Close the service during 11pm and 6am. Thanks to WHS that at least has machines for warm drink never mind you cannot find any warm meal or at least sandwiches. These are the shops not motorway services. Or I can call motorway car park. An ambulance crew was standing middle of service wondering what is going on. I said to her, market is closed, sorry. Saving and charging are good strategies. Washing hand is not possible anymore with little water from tab. What foreign travellers, tourists think. Ah, saving planet earth. We going closer to next century which is for us back to past.

Very good services. A few places to choose from to eat at. Nice touch to eat sitting over the motorway.

Nothing spectacular but does the job.KFC is the same price as the high street.WH Smith’s and Waitrose are more expensive.

Northbound Welcome break shop.My car had a problem & so I parked up outside the above mentioned shop.Graham,the senior manager & till staff were so kind & supportive. Graham willingly went the extra mile & sorted out free parking,oil advice & refreshments 4 me whilst I waited for the AA service to arrive.The power of kindness Graham.Thankyou very much.SB.

Toilets were fairly clean.Car park was busy but there were available spaces.We arrived at 7pm on a Friday and some of the shops were low on stock, Starbucks had run out of some products.Not a service station we'd choose when travelling this way again.

This is a useful service stop , from splash and dash to stopping for food if needed , fairly costly , but comparatively reasonable . The toilets are usually in a fair state , and considering the continual strain , they're fairly reliable . There's a shop for boiled sweets and gags for the children , books , some low grade medicine, pop , water, blankets for wrapping up the bodies . I think it's one of the better services . The fuel is still exorbitant because if you've got to have it you're going to pay premium . Fill your boots , it's a necessity for long distance travel

Easy access and egress as usual for motorway services. Toilets were well maintained. Burger King food was OK, but the electronic ordering system was very difficult to use and no coffee!
