Waitrose & Partners Chiswick

I walk past the big Sainsburys to go to this Waitrose. It is fairly small, but you can get everything you need there. Friendly staff are always helpful and the quality of groceries is very good. Great place for an easy shop, and a sushi counter too.

Great produce, lets shop

During an early morning visit to Waitrose, Chiswick today, the store manager on shift was incredibly aggressive and confrontational towards a staff member. Not only was it disrespectful, but it was highly inappropriate and poor leadership skills if the team are led by an example such as this. He raised his voice several times, yet the staff member remained extremely calm and professional, continuing to assist customers with decorum and friendliness - something perhaps the manager needs to learn.Highly disappointed by the behaviour that was witnessed. 1 star purely just for the member of staff who represented the company with such grace, regardless of how poorly she was being treated by her 'manager' at that time.

Medium sized Waitrose on Chiswick High Street. This Waitrose has a decent amount of selection and availability is pretty good. Prices may be a little higher than others but not too bad. It always seems to be busy and Does feel a little cramped. Check out is efficient and queues are low and at a minimal. Good help from staff as well.

I like this Waitrose. Even though it’s often busy due to its location, there is never a long wait at the till and the staff are very helpful. Good variety for a store of this size too.

If I could give no stars I would. I am severely disabled, was born into a working-class family, am very socially isolated and a regular Chiswick Waitrose customer. And the John Lewis Partnership state that their Diversity and Inclusion Plan supports their vision to become the UK's most inclusive business for Partners and customers, but I am wondering if the John Lewis Partnership are giving their Chiswick Waitrose Partners any TRAINING about non-binary people. But, yet again, a Waitrose Chiswick Partner has called me sir: at about 5 p.m. on 26/09/2023, on my birthday, I interacted with a Waitrose Partner at the customer service counter and for the second time in a week or so he has misgendered me. On the first occasion, he called me sir and I politely told him that I don't identify as male because I am non-binary, but today he called me sir again and then was laughing and asked me an upsetting and angering question in front of a customer after I again politely told him that I don't identity as male because I am non-binary. Furthermore, I know that non-binary genders are not recognised in the UK law, but, in respect of the Equality Act 2010, I am aware of the Taylor and Jaguar Land Rover Ltd case: a legal team successfully argued that non-binary and gender-fluid identities are protected under the Equality Act 2010. Finally, I would be hugely grateful if Waitrose Chiswick Partners would stop calling customers sir and madam because this socially excludes people who are non-binary, a marginalised and discriminated against minority group. Therefore, instead of a Waitrose Chiswick Partner saying 'thank you sir' to me, I would be hugely grateful if the Waitrose Chiswick Partner would just say a respectful 'thank you' to me instead please.

Dirty. That floor can't have had a decent mop in YEARS social distance tape still on the floor THREE YEARS even a floor buffer would have started scuffing the tape after a few weeks. The shelves FILTHY and there is no way they can say this is news to them, it is clear that standards have dropped.

From couple of weeks we waited too long to get delivery knocked through door and press the buzz no one come out and give me order.

Repeatedly missing items from deliveroo ordersAfter you get a refund, item is still available in the shop, they just do not want to update it or pack it.
