Lovely relaxing holiday park, classy bar and restaurant, heated indoor swimming pool, spash park, and children's play area. The best quality luxury static cavans, many with hot tubs and stunning views over the marina.

I had never been on a caravan park and I had no idea what to expect. More than greatly surprised by the size of quality of the caravans. They were huge! It was a very cold weekend and heating worked so well that after 15 minutes we had to turn them off. Huge club house with a superb screen where we watched a world cup match

The reception and bookings team were super helpful. The rooms were clean and well set up. The only slight niggle was it was a challenge to warm up the space. The hot tubs were checked daily and a good array of local restaurants operating even though there were none open on site.Cannot wait to go back when all the facilities are available.

Spent the weekend here with friends. Lovely holiday village, we stayed I Indulgent Lodge. All mod cons, spacious living/kitchen area. Clean and in good repair. Single beds are very small and more for small kids or teenagers but for a group of friends who just want to spend time together it was doable. Attended clubhouse for breakfast. Which could have been better but spent part of Saturday evening there joining in with bingo and quizz which was great. Ours had hot tub too. Is on a bus route to hayling Town centre 30 or 31., within walking distance of nature reserves. All in all had a great time. Be nice to go back in the summertime

We stayed for three days out of season. Chosen because of it being dog friendly, the price for the accommodation, and access for walks around the Island. The park homes are quite new, with good amenities, parking and location. Plenty of beds for larger groups in our unit (some have an outdoor hot tub). There are two places to eat, the Green Room restaurant and the Missing Squirrel, outdoor facilities including a small splash park, soft play, sports area, small lake, short coastal walk and nature reserve.

Apart from a few stains on the carpet and a frying pan fit only for the bin, the accommodation was excellent. Lovely, new luxury vans with wrap around, gated decking. The hot tub was lovely although the control panel needs replacing as it was so rubbed off most of the buttons were illegible. All the gentlemen who visited twice daily to attend to the water quality control were friendly and helpful but one in particular kept leaving the gate wide open; we nearly lost our dog on a couple of occasions as a result. They really should shut and latch the gate when they leave especially if they found it that way. Some initial instruction on the hot tub and its various settings would be useful too. I only discovered a couple of things by accident towards the end of our stay and one important thing only by chance after a comment to the hot tub guy who then showed us something important. The site is a quiet one with no arcade or shop (Lidl 2 mins from the end of the drive though). The entertainment was limited but Bill and Madison deserve a special shout out for their hard work and fun, friendly demeanor even when they only had a very limited audience. The swimming pool is lovely but the booking system is restrictive and doesn't allow for spontaneity. Sarah, the life guard, was lovely though and a credit to Mill Rythe. We didn't eat in either restaurant so can't comment but £4.10 for a diet coke meant we didn't return for a second drink either. All the staff were very friendly and professional; an area Mill Rythe really excel at.Overall a great stay but we would prefer to just be able to swim without having to plan it weeks in advance and would have expected some outside entertainment once in a while - a band, singer, comedian etc.

If you book to stay at Mill Rythe, please be ready for a plethora of bad experiences. Date of stay: 12/08/23-19/08/23.Our welcome pack was not there on arrival & we didn’t get the dogs one, but they sound lovely from reading the more positive reviews. The place was so filthy that we were offered an extra night as compensation, unfortunately we had other commitments & we couldn’t take up such a generous offer, I wonder how many people could. There wasn’t enough linen for 7 people, we inconveniently had to visit reception and request it. After using the hot tub that evening, we discovered we only had three towels & had to wait until the morning to go to reception again. The first night, we ate at the Missing Squirrel, unfortunately the quality of the food and drink did not match the London prices. The service was also shocking, yet there were only about 5 sets of customers that Saturday night, in the height of the holiday season. On the second night, regretfully, we visited the Green Room. I had to provide proof of receipt to the embarrassed waiter, because kitchen staff said there were no chips on our order. Whilst the adults were engaged in Bingo, a microwave chef wrongfully approached a minor, and asked him for proof of ID for an ALCOHOL FREE drink he was not even drinking. An adult purchased the drinks, and therefore he should have been approached. The chef was a real tough guy, and threatened to clear the table of paid drinks when nothing illegal had occurred. No wonder the food took so long, the kitchen staff were busy picking on children. When I raised a complaint to a barman, he proudly claimed that the aggressor was an assistant manager! I was shocked by such a claim and all they kept reiterating was that it was company policy to ask for ID for alcohol free drinks, but never once provided any proof of this so called company policy. After this experience, we decided to completely avoid the restaurant, bar & reception for the rest of our holiday and just attended our pre-booked activities. It is impossible to get anywhere with Mill Rythe if you raise any issues. The staff are plagued with nepotism & simply no one cares. They just assume they will always have a job there, sadly they probably will.It could be a really lovely place, it has huge potential. Unfortunately, unless they have an overhaul of about 90% of their staff, it will remain terrible. To conclude, unsurprisingly, we are still waiting for the refund we were offered (3+ weeks ago) for the food and drinks we ordered on site.

We decided to come here for a couple of nights and was so glad we did. The staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was the best they could. The caravan was amazing! Cleanliness was good, although a few cobwebs here and there, but hey! It's October. The hot tub was AMAZING and really made the accommodation perfect. The location is perfect on the island and is near most places. And again.... the staff take made us feel extra special, especial the check in staff. Thank you for making it an amazing break.
