Rutland House Veterinary Surgery, Haydock

I have used Rutland House for over 20 years with all my animals. I have always found the staff to be extremely helpful and the vets to be skilful and compassionate. One of my dogs is now getting old, but the vets are caring for her brilliantly. I would recommend them highly.

The receptionist was very friendly and we got an appointment very quickly. Milo is almost 15 and terrified of visiting the vet. He was put at ease very quickly and for once he was not shaking with fear. The vet listened to me about his health problems and was very reassuring. I highly recommend this practice.

Simply the best vets practice I’ve experienced. Always welcoming to my dog Florence, the vets are amazing and treat her like their own pet. Take the time to explain everything and offer different solutions. I travel some miles to come here past other vets as they are worth doing so for.

Absolutely lovely staff who can't do enough for you, I feel so much better about sooty and Lucy visiting hear as the treatment they both get is 5 star no question about it. Lucy is nervous dog both me and my mum feel she was mistreated at some point before we rescued her, when she comes here she's so relaxed and chilled out, she's completely different to how she acted when we took her to our previous vets. I would definitely recommend Rutland House Vets to anyone as they can't do enough for both you or your pet.

Staff were pleasant & attentive. We were dealt with quickly & the surgery was very clean. We were happy with our pet's health check & given good, relevant & helpful advice. They offer a 'Pet Plan' (paid monthly), which can save you a lot (longer term), on medications & certain procedures. Highly Recommended!

A few years ago our little doggie aged 17 wouldn't eat and lapsed in a coma. I got in touch with Haydock surgery who I had taken all my five dogs to in the past. They were amazing, two vets came out and said she wouldn't last 24 hours which I knew but didn't want her to suffer any longer. They ended her suffering with love and kindness. £142, which was doable. Now just been on to Medivets because I wouldn't touch Rutland House because our lovely Sky is not good on her hind legs and struggling to walk. A vet came out and gave her an injection and a prescription. Said she would call back, never did. Bill for this was £396. Couldn't believe it. Our Sky is no better. Seems Rutland is taking over all the vets, beware , total rip off and playing on our love for our loved furry babies. xx

Absolutely wouldn't go anywhere else , we where given an immediate appointment, staff where friendly and efficient they took care of our dog with absolute professionalism and treated him promptly. They have genuine love and care for animals and could not of been more helpful and reassuring for us. Thankyou so much

Lovely staff, gave my lots of help. Made my appointment so much easier than I expected it to be.Grateful for everyone who worked yesterday 7/6/23. Couldn’t have hoped it couldn’t have gone any better.
