We were able to get breakfast at exactly 9am on a Saturday which was great since we were staying nearby, on a tight schedule, and there aren't many local options. The food & service were excellent and the coffee is exceptional. The decor is Victorian Bonkers, worth a trip just to see it!

It’s the best steak place in Portsmouth. I can’t express enough how tasty good they serve. Bianca is the most sweet and friendly person there, she is making every visit very special. Jason making best drinks in the house. this place is amazing for just amazing meal, celebration or date. Go and treat yourself with amazing food, drinks and super friendly service

I had been eagerly anticipating a visit to The Chambers since moving to Southsea in 2019. The charming exterior always caught my eye, so I was thrilled when my husband surprised me with a birthday dinner there for our first child-free date night in ages.The eclectic and vintage interior created a delightful atmosphere, adding to our excitement. However, the limited menu options left us slightly disappointed, craving more variety. My husband enjoyed his burger, but the accompanying few chips left him wanting more. My chicken ballotine looked appealing, but the flavor fell short. The chicken was bland and overcooked beneath the chorizo slices, while the highlight was the potato.Despite the letdown in terms of the menu, the service was exceptional, and the cute ambiance added to the overall experience. However, as we left, we couldn't help but feel a sense of mild disappointment, hoping for a more memorable and satisfying dining outing, especially given the rarity of our child-free date night.

We booked online for a meal here and requested the 1kg Tomahawk in the special requests as you have to give 24 hours’ notice. Unfortunately this wasn’t received by the restaurant when we got there, however we were offered the Chateaubriand for the same price and were not disappointed at all! Tasted delicious, perfectly cooked and came out quickly.Unfortunately I can’t remember the name of the man who served us but he was fabulous and so attentive.Food was superb, atmosphere brill and staff all lovely, will definitely be returning.

Loved it!The best steak I've ever had in the UK, cooked to perfection with crispy wilted seasonal veg. Met the chef whose passion shines through so brightly. Chris really is a huge asset to this establishment.The decor is lovely, run by the owners daughter who takes huge pride in her work and loves making weird and wonderful bespoke cocktails.Whilst a little more than we would usually spend on a night out, had we not had as many cocktails, we could have had marvelous food and drinks. Due to trying new cocktails we realised we needed a taxi and they very kindly called us one.A night to remember.Thank you, Taylor, Chris and Brittney

Enjoyed two for one cocktails on the roof terrace. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating. Saw, and smelled, some beautiful looking dishes coming out to people dining. Will be heading there in the future for food for sure.

Mother's day Roast was amazing. Potatoes are so tasty and you get so much veg. Beef was good and the chicken was so tender.Very catering to our children, service was spot on.Highly recommended, will be back soon!

Amazing service & great food! All of the staff were so attentive, the food was so good on Friday evening I came back for breakfast on Saturday it didn't dissapoint!It's rare in my neck of the woods the head chef will engage with customers, it was a really nice touch. Well worth the 4 hour drive. I'll be back soon.

We were put into the back room where there is very little atmosphere and tired decor.Our server, Bianca, was very attentive and pleasant.The food looked good, but some of it was cold, and we did not feel that it was value for money. I ordered pork, and the crackling was terrible. I'm a bit shocked that they charge £1 for a Yorkshire pudding as it should be part of a Sunday dinner.
