Barry Veterinary Centre - Boverton

Our dog had a reaction to his kennel cough vaccine and they have been very supportive and got our dog seen straight away.

Great care given by staff towards my cat. Suitable parking provided but there is overspill as they are next to a Greggs. Staff are very competent and knowledgeable. Procedures explained and costs broken down prior to any action being taken. Vet priority is what is right for the pet but keeps owners fully informed. Good aftercare as well.

Excellent service I recommend boverton and barry veterinary centre to everyone with a pet. Brilliant staff very helpful and compassionate.

Very, very poor sadly. They advised we put our pet down about 6 years ago, since then we have seen a huge improvement in her. At the time we didn't question the vets but since then the service at the vets has become far less professional, seeing the same vet is impossible, poor management as well mistakes with prescriptions/drugs. In addition they only stick to the regulations when and if it suits them. The icing on the cake was that they asked my to call in for a check up (this should be done each year for controlled drugs - but had not been done for 3-4 years) then during check up without asking took bloods and charged me £150 for the privilege. My advice, stay away and find a better vets

Excellent service for my elderly moggy, he needed vaccination and a checkup. Vet and service from reception were 5*. Prices have risen but not to much .

Just joined this veterinary center and l must say was very happy at Rita vet that saw my elderly basset. She checked everything and was so reassuring and answered all of my concerns,highly recommended.

Friendly team and really responsive when we phoned to ask them to see our cat. Great with our cat (even when she's being difficult)
