Located opposite 'Oh My Cod' in Hornchurch. Staff are friendly & helpful, managing to fit us in at short notice. We have a small cockerpoo, who was nicely cut & pampered. No cages used. Took about 1.5 hrs & cost £50.

Took my Grandmother’s dog there (Shih Tzu) and it was the best cut I think she’s ever had at a more affordable price, will be going there from now on!

Been struggling to find a good groomer for a while now for our very large golden retriever. Took him for his first groom today at The Dog House and we’re so pleased with how well he was groomed. They did a very thorough de-shed and a lovely tidy up of his coat, including a nail trim. He can be a bit hesitant in new places but he seemed relaxed and happy when we picked him up. Would definitely recommend and will 100% be booking again. Thanks for doing a great job.

I am writing to express my profound disappointment with the dog grooming services I recently availed from your establishment. I entrusted my beloved Lakeland Terrier, whom I have rescued, to your care, hoping for a professional and satisfactory grooming experience. Regrettably, I must state that my expectations were not met, and I am left with dissatisfaction and concerns regarding the treatment my dog received.Prior to bringing my Lakeland Terrier to your parlour, I had specifically requested a hand-stripping grooming technique. However, upon collection, I was informed that this would not be possible due to the potential risk of her losing hair. Although I reluctantly agreed to an alternative method, I felt disheartened that my initial request could not be accommodated.To my dismay, when I retrieved my dog after the grooming session and thoroughly examined her, I discovered several issues. Chloe, the groomer assigned to my pet, admitted that it was her first time working with a Lakeland Terrier. It became evident that her lack of familiarity with this breed led to a less-than-satisfactory outcome. I was particularly disturbed to find that my dog's distinct Lakeland Terrier look had been compromised as Chloe had cut down her eyebrows, an unmistakable feature of the breed. As well as a bald patch on the top of her head caused by Chloe.Furthermore, I observed that my dog was left unattended within a cage while the other dogs in your parlour were receiving attention and comfort. This treatment of my pet, who deserves the same care and compassion as any other, was disheartening and unacceptable. Irrespective of my dog's appearance, her treatment should never have been compromised or overlooked.As a concerned pet owner, I firmly believe that the level of care and service my dog received falls far below the standards I anticipated from your establishment. It is crucial that each customer, and their pets, receive the utmost care, attention, and professionalism to ensure their comfort and well-being.In light of this unsatisfactory experience, I regret to inform you that I will not be utilising your grooming services again in the future. I hope that you take my feedback seriously and reflect upon the policies, training, and vigilance of your staff to ensure that similar shortcomings are not experienced by other clients.I would appreciate a written acknowledgment of this complaint so that I can be assured that my concerns have been appropriately addressed. In the absence of a satisfactory response, I may be compelled to share my experience with others who may rely on my recommendation.Thank you for your attention to this matter. I trust that you will take the necessary steps to rectify the situation and improve the quality of your grooming services.

Took our puppy to his first grooming appointment at the Dog House today. Excellent service they delivered above and beyond. We love his new look, will definitely bring back.
