My husband and I have been with this practice for 35 years and have no complaints about the doctors who have always treated us with care, however recently I had a note on my repeat prescription to speak to a doctor before ordering a particular pill and despite phoning every morning for over a week I cannot get a call back and told the soonest appointment is 30th June!! I sincerely hope no one is in need of urgent attention and the surgery returns to normal service sooner rather than later.

I have been a patient at the practice for over ten years now and have always had the best of service.Without going into personal details, all the doctors and nurses I have had the need to seek help from have been outstanding and on occasion have truly gone above and beyond in their efforts to help me.The reception staff are all lovely too. When I moved house recently, I was very pleased to still be able to attend.Would recommend to all.

Phoning regarding finding a lump and being told they can only give out appointments for medical emergencies? I appreciate the reception staff are skilled at what they do but have they also completed 7+ years of medical training? Apparently so as they are able to discern, over the phone, that finding a lump is not an emergency. And please define emergency. Surely for an emergency one would dial 999? Some of the most downright rude people I've spoken with at a GP surgery. Would rather wait and phone nhs 24.

This place is an absolute shambles. I basically walked into an abandoned medical centre with no staff, no receptionist and no humans. The lights were off. My appointment was at 12.30pm, I waited until 12:50pm as I have places to be and nobody even walked past me in that time. What a waste of time and having to sort out a baby sitter etc for nothing!! Just walked out!

***Update***Covid seems to have seriously turned this practice around. Receptionist has been absolutely lovely. The telephone appointments work well and I have found the doctors very helpful and accommodating. Thank you for keeping us going over the last few months while putting your own life and that of your family at risk. I sincerely hope the horrible receptionists won't be coming back as visiting the practice is such a different experience now.If I could, I would give this practice zero stars. The receptionists are incredibly rude. It's actually so infuriating walking into the practice, that I try not to go near it, unless I'm in excruciating pain (and even then I would seriously consider going to A&E in the future instead). The nurse I have been seeing has been no better unfortunately and I found her so incredibly unhelpful and rude that I am seriously dreading my next visit. I have so far only had one good experience in this practice with another nurse who provided me with injections before I went travelling (don't get me started on trying to get that appointment in the first place though!). She was lovely and helpful. Shame that I had to face the awful receptionists first to get that appointment. Please, please avoid this practice. You wouldn't want to rely on their service" if you got seriously ill."

Lovely people. My GP told me that I can't get and MRI so they sent me to a Physiotherapist in another venue who gave me some exercises on a piece of paper and to follow up. Came again another time without improvement - gave me other exercises and some rubber bands. Came for the third time - he said he can't offer me MRI and asked me to remove myself from their outpatient list as they can't help me. Got MRI organised by NHS and they missed cracks in backbones and told me that I have a bulging disc where scans are showing herniated disc and fluid out from the disc. They sent me to this venue and the situation was the same. Exercises on a piece of paper and as it wasn't helping - asked to be removed from outpatient list. They are't helping mobilising people and they told me that they aren't going to touch patients where in other countris they are helping you moving, exercising in-venue, magnetic fields etc. Here you going to talk to someone abotu your problem and you get nothing.

How difficult can it possibly be to get an appointment? I have been trying to book an appointment for two weeks now, calling at 8am in the morning multiple times a week (sometimes the call does not go through straight away) and it is just impossible. Either all the appointments for one week are taken, so you have to call back on another day of the week for a same-day appointment. Next, no member of staff is available for your issue, they are short-staffed, they are only taking medical emergencies on that day etc etc. Why can I not just book an appointment a couple of weeks in advance rather than having to call pretty much every day? This has never happened to me at any other practice in the UK.

I've had nothing but positive experiences with the staff and service here. In particular today I was with Paula who was exceptionally empathetic and supportive. Yes - I remember it being a challenge to sign up but as long as you follow the process and arrive early you should be fine. I think the practice could do with modernisation to allow people to control their appointments easier online so that more human time can be used by people who need it.

Incredible thing can happen and this kind of people work for us!!!!I have a pill 100 years ago same, last time I got only for 1 month!I call them and asked for 6-12 months(not a first time for 1 year) but at least for 3 months. They told I need appointment but for the same day can't.I called again today and the other receptionist told I need blood test because in the system says 20 days ago they asked for it and noone said on phone this week and when i asked She said probably WAS A NEW GIRLmy pill next week over and if I don't get, they don't care???
