I would like to thank Glen and the team for taking care of my dad in March at such a difficult time. And making us feel at ease. Everything was done with great care and companion. My precious dad passed away on 14/12/2021, shepherds where there every step of his final journey. They rang every day apart from the Christmas period to ask if we as a family where okay and could they help us in our darkest moments. They took care of my dad with such respect and kindness and when we went to see him wow he looked beautiful and very smart and we could stay for as long or as little as we wanted and they waited respectful for us in our final goodbyes. The day of dads service was put together with respect and precision. All in all they felt like family so a big big thank you everyone who was involved in looking after Derek George Clyde.

When registering my father's death, I was told to shop around as prices for funerals vary so much - this was something I had not thought to do, had it not been suggested then I'd have used the same company we used for my Mum and father in law.The service from A Shepherd and Sons was far superior, yet far cheaper than the funeral director we had used before. From start to finish, the highly professional, yet personalised and friendly service I received from Nicola and A Shepherd and Sons was absolutely fantastic.I cannot recommend Nicola and A Shepherd and Sons highly enough.

Our beloved mum passed away end of January, we knew who we wanted to make all the arrangements for the funeral. We knew this person gave unconditional support, care ,attention, empathy, and kindness, aswell as respect to us, as had him do our father's funeral 17yrs ago. John Guinness went above and beyond what we wanted for our mums funeral. It made it alot easier knowing they did everything. John always stayed in touch talked us through every step right up to day of funeral. Mike Anderson too did an amazing service everyone commented how beautiful it was. Nothing was too much trouble, never rushed us into making decisions gave us all the time we needed , it was exceptional service from beginning to end. We would highly recommend A Shepherd & Sons to our friends and family. His team at Chapel of rest was excellent , everything handled with dignity and respect not only to us but to our mum when visiting her. Cannot thank John Guinness enough and his Team who have helped us all in this difficult time.Again Thank you for everything you did to make it easier on us all.Sue .
