Something Fishy

Been coming here since I was 10yrs old - now in my 40’s, it’s still a fantastic example of a family run business.A true Aladdin’s Cave, the owners know everything there is to know about fish care and have a great selection of fish. Far better than the nearby home of pets!I expect it could be difficult for the less able-bodied to move around inside due to the enormous amounts of stock, and some access is down narrow steps, but without a relocation there’s not much the owners can do about that.

Bought a few female guppies today, Absolutely stunning colours and markings. Definitely stocking my 2 tanks from this place, lovely shop and fish, lovely owners, very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend buying from here.

Love going here for my fish they always seem to be healthy an last a long time the owner is really helpful an can help you with any problems you might have an if there is something you want ask he may be able to help you . If like me you buy lots of him you can get a deal on price he is very accommodating I will always go here for my fish and bits

It was fine never been before, the prices were a bit strange when I asked to mix and match as they wouldn't do this ever though it would be the same price !!!!! Odd as my usual place will mix and match as long as it doesn't change in price and the fish are compatible. But worth going in to see what they have, I will be going again, and the owners/ staff were very pleasant.

I want to buy some neon tetras for my kids and notice ONE dead neon tetra floating in the tank. So ive still decided to buy neon tetras and the guy (owner) packed the bag with brown bag. Since I’ve been a customer for 2yrs and have spent a lot of money in this shop i am confident that there’s nothing wrong. So i went home drove 8 mins and guess what, that ONE dead fish is inside the bag! Im so disappointed and my kids were really sad seeing a dead fish! Called them and said anything can happen?? The fish has no colour and without eyes so obviously youll see that its dead! they are willing to change the fish but why would they put that ONE floating dead fish in the first place since i bought only 5! Why will i drive 8mins just for one fish hustle and inconvenient ! Never again and i will not recommend this shop to my friends

The best fish shop i have been too and the ponds at the back, i could see they were being looked after.The owners Amanda and John are lovely people and their knowledge about the fish,plants,ponds,aquariums etc.is amazing .I totally recommend the shop for the fresh fish and plants.

Bought a beautiful butterfly carp today, along with a grass carp and 2 koi's. Lovely couple and great service, down to earth. Highly recommend. All the carps are now nicely settled! Thank you
